Pete Carroll just confirmed that Rawls will be on a snap count.

If you've got C-Mike, he's going to have day against Miami.

I just can't trust him though. Every time you think he's gonna perform...

I have no idea which way to go in the draft. If I liked my keepers it be better.

Well that was weird. I think I somewhat maybe have feelings for my team.

Fuck y'all. Just about ever round I had my dreams crushed. Started with Keenan Allen and then from TD 10 on picks I wanted kept going.

Not too happy with my team. If not for PPR I'd be in trouble. Like my QBs and TE. WR are decent. Need my RB rookies to shine or I'm fucked. Lat Murray can take a seat and let Washington be the star he was meant to be. That or I need an injury to occur and I don't wish for those.

Willing to trade some #2 RBs to the teams that have their starters. If you saw Gruden's Grounders take them hit me up.
And I don't want to ba an ass hole but didn't we decide last year on no IR spots? We never had them before and we have 17 roster spots. Most leagues have 15. The no IR was so you couldn't stash a hurt keeper. If you wanted that person you had to use a roster spot. It should cost something.

There are 24 Extra players in the league with 17 slots. Do we really need to add more with IR?

I either have four really good RBs or none. I can't wait to find out though. Rest of my team is excellent.

I did like that the new New Orleans kicker wasn't even in the pool of players you could draft. Talk about a true unknown.

I appreciate that advice. I was thinking the same thing. I'm hoping that with Brees/Jones/Green/Decker/Reed that I have a solid core there (if all stay healthy), that I only really need is at least 10 points from my RB spots.

If it doesn't work out, I have enough talent to package two guys for a solid RB. But I hope that doesn't come to pass.

I think the deal was that SD couldn't find a way to get rid of the IR spots on our roster, but we definitely agreed not to use them to "hide" (for lack of a better word) a possible keeper. I was guilty of doing it at first, and then after you guys explained it, I moved Kelvin to a regular roster spot (as somebody had already done with Jordy). Weird thing is neither guy ended up being a keeper, which is pretty funny now that I rethink about the situation.

I think we'll just have to bring it up again to be sure everybody is on the same channel. But it should be clear whether we can't use the IR spots at all, or if you long term league players have a different plan in mind. I'd definitely defer to you veterans for that decision.

You're doomed.

I was very happy to find Brandin Cooks available, but I was unable to improve my RB situation at all.  I need Melvin Gordon or Jeremy Langford to have a breakout season.

I'm moist my team in the Keeper league for trading purposes. If you want to handcuff or something bigger.

QB Luck, Cousins

RB Martin, Mathews, Rawls, Washington, Dixon, Draughn, Hightower

WR Landry, Decker, Shepard, Fuller, Aiken

TE Reed

Chiefs, Catanzaro

Ingram, Hyde were injured last year and missed time. Their back up would be nice. Still open to Shopping Luck.

I didn't really do much prep this year.  I used to do spreadsheets with aggregate rankings and projections and just got tired of the grind.  Had a couple of ranking sites open while the draft was going on and just winged it.

Kelvin Fuckin' Benjamin. He's getting the start the rest of the season. I should have known Cam would target the shit out of him every time he was on the field.

On the plus side, CJ Anderson had a fucking night and killed even Aaron Rodgers's projection. I might win this week, despite having K-Ben on the bench.
I try to find solace when I do that by saying, "Well, at least that means he didn't score those points for my opponent." And then I cry a little.

One of my leagues appears that I didn't even look at my line up before this weekend. I scored like 100-something points, and my bench scored almost 200. I'm pretty close in most of my leagues, though. Not bad for first week. And to add upon my displeasure, I also benched Willie Snead in a couple of leagues too. Argh.

I had Sanu, Spencer Ware and Snead on my bench in one league.

And still won. Whew!

I'm in good shape, I just need DeSean Jackson and my kicker to outscore Ben Roethlisberger by 43 points...  Stupid Brandin Cooks and the Vikings defense combining for 66 points.

My first week match-up ended in a tie, thanks to the Cardinals defense allowing all those yards. Better than a loss, I guess.

Waiting to see if ESPN ends up adjusting any scores, since their servers were down for most of yesterday.

Yes, twitter was predictably unkind to ESPN fantasy yesterday.

It wasn't just the app; I couldn't access scoring on the mobile site either.

Desktop version didn't work when I tried it. I got home from my son's lax game and would just get "Site not available" messages from ESPN when I clicked on one of my teams. That finally cleared up around 5-6 pm for me.

Scratch that. My bench outscored his by almost double. Kelvin Benjamin gets me the win, after all.

Love you, bb. Plz don't leave me again.

Not bad for week 1. Went 3-1 in my various leagues. Of course, the lone loss was in my only money league. On to week 2!

I'm dropping Henry and picking up Riddick, if he makes it long enough for my turn at the waivers. Henry's going to be behind Murray for the foreseeable future.

I'm so glad I drafted D Williams early(6th rd) in my money league. Won me my game. I'll take 3 weeks with a top 3 RB against my 3 divisional opponents any day. And who knows, maybe Bell gets dark dinged again or they split them equally and Williams becomes a great flex.

Pulled the trigger on both Derrick Henry and Christine Michael. Rawls is healthy and he's been announced as the starter. Good night, C-Mike.

Picked up Theo Riddick from waivers and just snagged Justin Forsett who went undrafted in our league because he wasn't signed to a team. But now he's looking like a top 15 RB this week, up against the Browns (sorry, Mangy).

"You know what? Matt Forte has a tough matchup against Buffalo. Maybe I'll sit him down this week."

I had Decker on the bench in CHUD keeper because Thursday games tend to be shit games and it was in Butfalo. Then I realized Landry was in NE and that's not much better so I put him back in. 29 points later I'm glad I did
post #130 of 267

Always start guys against Rob Ryan defenses.

Decker set my opponent up for what could either be a close match or a blow out. He's got Cam Newton at San Francisco on Sunday...

I'm playing my girlfriend in our family PPR league. She had McCoy, Forte, and Marshall, and I chose to stream the Jets defense this week. Whoops...

What the hell is going on in here?  I thought I could always check this thread to see 2 things on a weekly basis:

- that one team trying to get somebody to take Andrew Luck off his hands

- that other team talking about what a great draft technique it was to take Cam early

I'll just assume that at least one of those things is happening over in the much busier NFL thread though...lol

4-0 in all my leagues the first week, but it looks like only 3-1 this week, with 2 of the victories in the money leagues...and a small chance the F'n packers could actually go off and make me 4-0 this week as well.  Going to be a fun season no matter what!

Another nail-biter this week.

We're neck and neck, thanks to Denver targeting Donte Moncrief and putting him in the concussion protocol. He's got Diggs and I have A-Rod. I was feeling super confident, and now Rodgers has come out looking like shit. Tell me I'm not going to lose by a narrow margin to Sam Bradford's receiver.

2 different leagues. One is keeper, the other traditional. I wanted to trade Luck before the season because I also had Carr. What I don't have is a legit WR or RB. But nobody wanted to trade. Or I should say 1 did but the WR had major health issues.

If I ever think of drafting Eddie Lacy someone slap me.

I'm staring at 0-6 this week in my leagues.

I didn't buy enough beer this weekend either.

It's all good, and I was just busting your balls a little. It's weird to be in any league with almost zero trash talking on the actual league message boards, so occasionally I'll stop in here for some minor trolling if it's quiet. Someone will eventually grab Luck from ya, but sure as hell not after this week.

And even though my lowly Lions got all Lionsy and lost to a team they should have beaten, so did the packers, so all is well...GO LIONS and F the packers!

@Martianman I'm sorry. Blame Stefon Diggs for going off like crazy last night against the Packers. Literally the only reason I came back and won our matchup

Bring on the trash talk.

Looking to trade for a RB. Will give you a WR

Decker
Landry-great in PPR
Will Fuller-freak keeper plus really good now.

For the CHUD keeper league

I have a surplus of plodding RB2s that would barely be considered flex plays in a season without so many RB injuries 2 weeks in.  Lets talk!

Lost in the B-League by .24 points. I am clammy with rage.

So, my league has had two ties in two weeks, settled by bench points as the tie breaker.

The co-commissioner wants to change the point structure to a decimal system, but I think it might just be a fluke, and the teams who tied would still have had the same lack of disparity. But, I think he's a little miffed about being 0-2 and having one of those loses be the result of a tie breaker. He wants to have a vote to let the league decide it we should change or keep on keepin' on.

Anyone have thoughts on decimals versus whole numbers? What's a good way to ensure that no more ties happen? (Even though I think they're fun.)

I hate decimals. Who cares if I lost by 1 point, or 0.32? I still lost!

My league just goes by combined offensive yards from all your starters, and that includes the kickers.

That way the tiebreaker is decided by the guys who actually were played in the 2 lineups and no one gets screwed on bye weeks or benched, injured players.

Our 2nd tiebreaker is bench points, but we have never needed to go to that far in 10+ years.

And everyone is happy with this system, except the ONE guy who wants decimal points.

Also, never be the owner who demands change because something went against them one time. I am no longer commish of our league, and it's because of assholes like that.

Two people, not in communication with each other outside the league, have requested decimals. Fuck it, I'll go with it if that's what the league decides. I don't think it'll change much, but I want the majority of the league to be satisfied with their experience.

On a somewhat related note, what are thoughts on this trade:

My Theo Riddick and Justin Forsett for his Brandin Cooks. Three of his runners are out with injury now, and I'm looking at not having a WR1 if Moncrief ends up being out.

I won CHUD B league by .24. One last catch by Matthews put me over. Of course I would have won by 10'or so if Woodhead didn't tear his ACL.

I'm not a fan of the decimal points, but it's not a deal breaker ever.  If...and I mean IF...If he even has the most minimal stench of miffed over those 2 losses, and that's why you think he's wanting change, I'd never do it.

Although, in all honesty, it's more an issue for me of not making any changes like that after the season starts.  It's a slippery slope, and all of a sudden you've got guys whining about wanting to make other changes every other week, and the precedent has been set that you have to listen...and maybe even put that next whining change to a vote.  Just not a fan of mid-season changes for those (and other) reasons.

Would it be crazy to bench Justin Forsett today and play both Jason Witten against Chicago and Julius Thomas against Baltimore?

Don't ask me why I have two TEs.

edit: Nevermind. Dropped Witten and added Shane Vereen, who'll be an every-down back against that shitty 'Skins defense. Here comes the W!

This keeper league continues to defeat me at every damn turn.  I decided to be the ultimate homer and keep Golden Tate instead of Kelvin Benjamin, even though I made it a point to take Marvin Jones (and CJ Anderson) in EVERY OTHER DAMN LEAGUE...aaaargh!  Oh, and of course Jones went off with 200+yds the one week my opponent has him against me, but the Lions still lost to the shitty packers.

I guess I should at least be happy that somebody didn't keep Jordy so he slipped to me at the 7th pick though.  It basically looks like the struggle is real again this year, and I sincerely thank each of you for making it a non-money league, so at least I'm not just donating money to someone else :)

On a positive note, it looks like I'm going to stay undefeated in every other league though.  Now I just need to find a way to make sure I have a decent replacement for DeAngelo Williams, or hope that Bell ends up in the doghouse the rest of the season somehow...because I took Williams in EVERY OTHER DAMN LEAGUE as well!  I might finally be done whining now
