Tonight in Portland things started to look as they should. It's too sweet seeing Durant in that uniform.

Let's see who the Warriors got on the 'ol schedule for tonight...

Oh my, would you look at this. Glad they had that tune-up game against Portland a couple nights ago. Got them in perfect shape to deliver an epic beatdown this evening. OKCyalater.

Love your ability to play the villain. Really looking forward to tonight.

Westbrook is averaging 37.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 10.0 assists through the first four games of the season.

Hoping the Warriors fly in that psychotic Sixers fan and seat him behind the Thunder's bench.

I will give you 2 and 5, but the rest....yeesh.

1. Leonard

2. Westbrook

3. Lillard

4. Butler

5. Any Laker who has a good game other than Nick Young

Kings currently sit at 2-3 with a game tonight in Orlando. Do they get back over .500 at any point the rest of the season?

I forgot about Dame. He's in there somewhere.

The thing about Isiah Thomas on NBATV that I love is he'll hit you with some astute old school knowledge as well as dropping some baffling out of the blue head-scratchers. On the "Open Court" Season Preview he declared the Kings a 4th or 5th seede in the West. This stunned the rest of the panel into silence for about a minute - even C. Webb.!

They wouldn't be a 4th seed in the NIT.

Appears the Warriors have a bit of a mismatch tonight at the small forward position. I look for them to further exploit that in the second half.

The Lakers would like to thank the league for the scheduling assist. But it was still a hell of a good time.

Do ya think Jalen Rose is right that teams aren't afraid of GS this year?

Well ya know, takes time for teams to gel.

I can't believe the Warriors added JaVale McGee. That's kind of like if the 91 Lakers added Benoit Benjamin.

Great nite for Dame yesterday: 42 pts  5-6 3pt 4 rb 4 dimes

The real Game of the Week Tonite! Clips vs Spurs!

I was straining to make a Baby Ben joke, but the real strengths last year for GS were a mental toughness and unified locker room with singular focus.  Being forced to retool with likes of McGee and Zaza in mix , we'll see if there's a comedown in those areas. Leadership (Still Green and Curry?) definitely have work cut out for them to blend chemistry.

agreed, calling it right now. The Warriors do not win a championship with Zaza at center. After watching 3 games with him in the starting lineup, I am feeling pretty confident he is a bad fit. Selfish, inefficient player who takes better shots away from better players.

Maybe that Clippers window isn't closed.

Second best team in the West?

I hate to admit it, but this season the Clippers look better than I have ever seen them look.

DeAndre dominates the San Antonio interior game.

Quality developments in the drama zone tho!

You might remember me calling Tim MacMahon a bitchmade stooge for leaking Parsons agenda during the Troubled Times. This upset me, as Monta was made out to be a target in these 'media reports', when it was just Parsons talking shit and MacMahon throwing it out there with the implication that it was coming from a 'source within the team'. #teammonta

I guess Cuban has had enough of MacMahon dickriding Chandler and revoked his press credentials. Lol. Fuck that guy.

BEARDFORCE: 32 pts 6 rbs 15 dimes

First player with 4 straight 30 + points/ 10 + assists since MJ in 88-89!

Speaking of MJ, props to the Hornets on their start. They're not missing Big Al + Lin

Kemba is another one of my guys.

It's been 25 years since "The announcement".

"I'm going to go on, I'm going to beat it."

Seeing the clip, I still get emotional.

Lillard v Harden v Westbrook MVP race.

The dankest timeline.

Harrison Barnes has been great, and Parsons looks like the most overpaid player in the league. So we got that going on at least.

Stan van Gundy is an OG

I've been in Stan VG rage mode myself, so it was kind of good to hear what EJ had to say.  It chilled me a bit. Lord, I'm going to be praying like I'm Al Green.

Harden is just devouring teams. I don't if it's sustainable with his workload, and I doubt it will be as effective in the playoffs when he won't be getting as many calls going his way, but damn is it amazing to watch. I probably hate his game more than any other player in the NBA but D'Antoni has unlocked another level for him. It's too bad for the Rockets that their bench is a scorched earth of mediocrity.

Watching Kawhi blossom into the second best two player in the game is so satisfying. I think the Spurs' ceiling is Conference Finals, but it will be a hard fought series. They just don't have depth they used to. Maybe next year with everyone gaining another year in the system and Dejaunte Murray stepping up. He's going to be the Ginboli to Kawhi's Duncan.

I feel bad for AD. I really do. If he had a semi-competent front office the Pelicans would be in the hunt. As is, they might play for the 8th seed and then get rocked by the Warriors.

How long does he have left on his contract? Maybe he can come be the savior of the Dallas Mavericks. We would really appreciate.

Pelicans have him locked up through '19-'20, with a player option for '20-'21.

Ahhhh that would be amazing. Carlisle would probably go into catatonic shock from how many ideas he'd have. Alas, it probably won't happen.

I think we're 3 weeks in. Biggest surprises + disappointments so far?

Biggest surprise: Harrison Barnes can ball!!

Biggest disappointment: the GSW-CLE grudge match will not be stopped. Makes everything else seem somewhat weightless.

Biggest surprise was how JJ Redick couldn't even get off a shot in those closing seconds against the Grizzlies. Butterfingers!

This game is brutal, but Wiggins and KAT are hugely entertaining to watch. That's the future of the League, if we manage to survive that long.

Biggest Surprise: Definitely Howard actually playing to his strengths in Atlanta. He's quietly doing what he needed to do in Houston. My only worry is that he recently gave an interview talking about how he's wants to start shooting threes.......

Biggest Disappointment: Those Pacers are rough aren't they?

The Timberwolves are going to be a force. I hope they let everyone develop and don't try any win now moves soon. It's just a matter of time before they get to the point of winning gams.

Watching Marc Gasol shoots threes is amazing. He's one of the most complete big men to ever touch a basketball.

I, too, wistfully remember MVP-level Paul George.

Tim Macmahon just dropped by the Grizz pregame, and mentioned that Dirk was part of the group that convinced Cuban not to re-sign Parsons.

You already knew that from last year, when I told you guys about this whole deal. But now its CONFIRMED!! Biiiiyaaaa!!

Wish I still had those dope inside sources, but alas they have since moved on.

Kind of hard to fuck with the League when the refs are out there acting like Time Wizards.
