I'm still laughing at the whole 'Steve Bannon looks like a disheveled drunk' thing, especially since that came from the GOP.

I don't know why they even need the qualifier. Steve Bannon is a disheveled drunk. I get up in the morning looking more sheveled than he does when he's trying to dress up for a campaign event.

So Roy Moore still won’t concede? LOL.

Yeah, somewhat.  All other drunks are but Platonic shadows on cave walls compared to that condom full of oatmeal.

He's great. That's beyond great. I just wish the camera showed his R colleagues squirming while he spoke.

Bannon and Trump reminded me so much of old series Boss Hogg and Roscoe on Dukes of Hazard. Just with a slight role reversal..

Hefty bag full of wet kleenex, Blake Farenthold is confirmed as being completely loathsome:

How is he still in congress?

Because he's a Republican?

I didn't watch much of the election coverage last night. I figured Jones would win and I rationalized that by knowing the GOP now a child molesting albatross tied around their necks. I was pleasantly surprised to check Facebook this morning and see that Jones won. I now have a legit hope that the midterms will go the Dems way and Trump's time in office will be short with minimal damage done.

I did catch Jack Kingston's defense of Moore yesterday; it was God uses imperfect instruments. His "logic" was that its OK that Moore is a child molester because he is against abortion. Fuck Kingston! That dipshit is why I don't vote for people that don't believe in evolution. For all the right's talk about the sanctity of human life, they don't give a shit about people. Their economic plans don't work. They aren't doing anything about climate change. Anytime there is a mass shooting their response is thoughts and prayers. They rationalize  police shooting unarmed citizens. In 2002 Bush said he wasn't concerned about Bin Laden, and there where no consequences!

Looks like a brand-new Trump-accuser has just come forward:

Luc Robitaille scored 63 goals in the 1992-93 season.  Can we start taking these accusations seriously now? fuck!

Seems like Trump state Iowa would like a redo:

https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/politics/iowa-poll/2017/12/14/iowa-poll-60-percent-iowans-disapprove-donald-trumps-job-performance/945229001/

Quote:
Iowans believe the country’s headed in the wrong direction and that President Donald Trump isn’t doing a good job.
Sixty percent of respondents to this month’s Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll say the United States has gotten off on the wrong track, and 60 percent likewise disapprove of the job Trump, a Republican, is doing as president.
“It just seems like it’s one big mess,” said poll respondent Nick Ford, a Navy veteran and businessman from Cedar Rapids.
Ford, a 49-year-old political independent, lamented the “general craziness” of the country’s political arena and the “unprofessionalism” he sees in the White House.
The president, he said, “seems overwhelmed by the task. I didn’t vote for him, but I was hoping some things would change. I don’t think anything’s really changed — for the better, anyway.”
Trump’s 35-percent job approval rating marks a sharp decline from earlier this year in Iowa. In the July Iowa Poll, 43 percent of respondents approved of Trump’s effort, while 52 percent disapproved, a differential of 9 percentage points. Now, he’s 25 points under water.

The "style guide" for The Daily Stormer has leaked. Unsurprisingly, it's a how-to on writing Nazi screeds while pretending to be just "the alt-right".

This is the battle the Republican Party is on the wrong side of.

Maybe I'm being naive, but this day really does feel like a turning point. Things still aren't great, and I wouldn't say we're on the upswing exactly, but it does feel like some kind of spell has been broken. The God-Emperor bleeds.

Holy fuck. Holy, holy, holy fuck.

Dan Johnson, a Republican state lawmaker in Kentucky known for inflammatory Facebook posts comparing Barack and Michelle Obama to monkeys and who defiantly denied allegations that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl in the basement of his home, killed himself Wednesday night. He was 57.

It's terrible that he was a very spiritual man and suicide is the one Christian sin that cannot be forgiven by Christ so he's already begun burning in a Lake of Fire forever.

I cannot even wish him to rest in peace, it's not respectful to his beliefs.

I wish I had known Representative Johnson was so wracked with guilt over the reality of his assault of that woman.

I would have sent him some thoughts and prayers.

So, exactly how long will it take for the alt-right camp to throw around conspiracies of murder?  I personally give it about four more hours.

-12 hours

Fredo spent ~9 hours in front of the Senate Intel Committee today.  Most of it was behind closed doors.  We'll probably find out in the next few days just how fucked he is (since Hope Hicks sold him out).

How many people did Hicks throw under the bus?

And how does she still have a job when she's this in deep with the Feds?

Something to consider: Trump has lost all of his political clout.  What little he had went out the window last night with the Roy Moore rejection.  I think you're going to see more and more Republicans say 'fuck this shit' and stop defending him, especially if they're relatively clean in terms of the scandal itself.  We essentially need to get past this whole tax thing (whether it passes or fails) and then we'll see everyone throwing him to the wolves.

Once that happens, I'll be like this:

I hope the Mueller pain continues into the Pence Administration... if that's even a thing.

Pence is dirty.  The thing is, I'm not sure if the country will have the stomach to go that far once Trump is taken down.  I could honestly see everyone pulling back and saying 'that's enough.'

Here's his "gun choir"

Concert at his "Church", with the Pope/pastor giving shots to the band ...

I'll spare everybody copy/pasting the sexual abuse details, extremely gross and incredible that the cops didn't do their job. You can also read about arson, and this ...

▪ Alcoholic Beverage Control officers have cited Johnson and the church three times for selling alcohol without a license. These sales happened at regular weekend church parties. KyCIR described them as “Bikers, booze and, occasionally, bare breasts ... a costume party featuring zombie nuns in short skirts.” In a 2009 trial Johnson, dressed in a priest’s collar and wearing a cross, claimed that the drinks were served as part of a “communion.”
