Review be damned I LOVE this film and am glad it is finally on dvd \m/ \m/

I'd say the review was lukewarm at best. It did get 2 Dracs out of five. The movie's enjoyable, just not fantastic.

Not knocking the review at all, I agree with it for the most part, but my love of the film overwhelms its flaws (I would personally give it 3 "dracs").

The movie was "meh...", but the soundtrack is "WOW!".

I haven't seen Brainscan in many years, I look forward to seeing it again. I remember loving it at the time.

Was that the one with Edward Furlong?

yes

Don't let little things like Eddie Furlong or a bucketload of negative reviews put you off. Give it a chance, it's a goodie.

I've always loved this movie from the first time i saw it, sure it has some flaws but Furlong rules and the movie is just damn entertaining to me....and as stated above, the soundtrack kicks ass. That "Thunderkiss '65" remix is my favorite. The score by George S. Clinton is great as well...very moody. ...and of course Amy Hargreaves...she may not be INCREDIBLE looking but something about her made me fall in love in the early 90's with 'er. I was flipping through the channels one day and saw her in a movie about 'i believe it was' bulimia(sp?).
