So I was just offered the chance for the Creature Corner to get it's own chat room, like the one CHUD has. I say that but I doubt many of you have visited it (I know I haven't in a while..), but I thought I'd ask you guys if you'd be interested in it.

Think about it...real time arguements about the validity of 'Resdient Evil' vs. 'Day of the Dead'...realy time shilling by indie filmmakers...real time hate by Hart Fisher.

Let me know what you think, dwellers.

And I'd like to make a suggestion. Chances are you are talking about some sort of JAVA-based app to connect to the chat room... Well, some of us use actual chat clients. So please, for the love of Dagon, put the server and channel information on the same page that launches the app. Having to load up some slowass thing and wait for it to connect just to get the info for a separate chat client makes me want to ball-kick the world.

Or what you could do is simply take over CHUDs once or twice a week. Announce when it becomes CreatureCHAT, you and the crew show up...and the rest should take care of itself.

I know I would show if you and Creech where on...

The current CHUD chat room is shamefully under-used, I would go with the idea of taking it over for a night or two. I'm sure BoonSaint would be happy to give Johnny B mod privaleges. Also, it is possible to make additional rooms in CHUD chat. It would be a shame to waste a resource which is already in place.

Or you could always join those of us who already go into chat regularly, we don't bite...Well, only when asked politely! wink

Just to clarify. By "like the Chud chat", Johnny means exactly. SaintAlphonzo and I thought since the Corner has it's own site, and many of those who use it don't come onto Chud that it was fitting for it to have it's own room.

There is plenty of room for new users and rooms on there. That way those of us who use both can just hop back and forth as easily as hitting the rooms tab and those who don't want to mix don't have to.

I get Rotten's nifty graphic with a big white box underneath it with one-third of some info visible on the left and a "connect" button at the bottom.

Pretty exciting for twenty minutes of watching it load.
