Watson would have been nice, too.

As long as the Browns are owned by Jimmy Haslam, they will be terrible forever.

That is definitely accurate.

Wow, that has got to be heart breaking for the Saints.

I’m completely apoplectic right now. Between the injuries and the penalties and that horrible interception at the end there and whatever happened with Payton at the end there I can’t even process it.
Kamara is concussed and the game ends with a bad pick thrown into heavy coverage. Everything I start to love begins to die!

The Saints already have plenty of fans (as shown by the noise in our stadium). The Falcons need more love.

John Dorsey is now GM, so maybe not....

Dorsey is a good GM pick...if he is allowed to do his job. The retention and endorsement of Hue Jackson and Depodesta doesn’t give me much confidence that he will.

Browns have stocked up on a ton of draft picks so there's that, of course you have to choose the right players with those picks, so maybe not.

The weather in Buffalo looks miserable.

Go Vikes!

I love watching games in the snow, though.

Jesus Christ, Tom Savage took a hit and had what looks like a seizure on the field...

Vikes may have lost but I'll be damned if that wasn't a great game.

The Jags helmet design sucks. It’s like they got a bunch of gold helmets cheap, started spray painting them black and just said “Fuck it,” half way through and stopped.

Brett Hundley has more overtime wins than Aaron Rodgers. #hundleyfacts

What the fuck, Jags?

If Bortles can just not lose games for them, they're really good.

The Eagles-Rams game is as good as advertised. Game of the weekend so far. Philly fans holding their collective breath as Wentz is taken to the locker room. Anyone hear about how bad his injury is? Hope he's ok, Wentz and Goff look like they could be doing this for years. Could they be the Montana and Elway or Manning/Brady for this generation?

And he was in the next drive. That concussion protocol is really doing good and valuable work.

Wentz torn left ACL.

Jefferson trying to scale the wall and fight Jaguars fans was an early Christmas present to us all.

Such a goddamn shame.

Christ, Eagles can't get a break. The NFC even more open than it was already.

I can't WAIT for the Orangutang-In-Chief to weigh in on that.

I was on the road today, so I had to listen to the entire Jags game on the radio instead of watching it.

YES the dickhead jags fans who threw shit at Jefferson are assholes and should be banned from future NFL games.

BUT fuck those Seattle defenders for pulling a Schiano and diving at guys in the victory formation, not once but twice. When Pete Carroll has to come out on the field, take a 15-yard flag and tell you to cut that shit out, you know you fucked up.

Exactly. THAT was bullshit.
If Jefferson just walks to the locker room, that incident never happens. Not saying the Jags fans are totally without blame, but Jefferson definitely escalated things.

That's crazy. Never seen the Seahawks do anything like that at the end of a game before...

Injuries are going to sink the Seahawks season.

Also the fact that their offense only seems to want to play for the last half of the fourth quarter every game.

Yep, that's problematic as well.

I'd say that was the worst game of the year for the Seahawks, and illustrated all of the teams problems, including some that weren't so obvious.

The 2017 NFL: Come for the Football, stay for the laundry list of injured stars....J.J. Watt, Odell Beckham, Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Sam Bradford (ok I'm reaching with him), Richard Sherman, Julian Edelman, and now Carson Wentz.

I'm sure there are some more I'm missing. I can't remember another season in recent memory with more stars getting knocked out for long periods of time or the season.

Read on Twitter (I'm sure it was repeated a hundred times):

Eagles hopes of going to the Superbowl just Wentz out the window.

The Super Bowl should just be Tom Brady vs. the stitched together body parts of NFC quarterbacks.

Cutty trying to quiet the crowd in Miami is sad.

It ain't Fins fans making the noise, dude.

Most of the league would like some of the mojo that Miami seems to have at home vs the Pats.

A former stylist at NFL Network is accusing basically every former NFL player on or previously on the payroll of sexual harassment. Also an executive, the talent manager and several others. Ike Taylor, Marshall Faulk and Heath Evans have all been suspended from the network, pending investigations. She says she's got photos and videos they've sent her.

The woman is also suing for wrongful termination damages after being fired on grounds that she was stealing clothing from the studio. What a mess.

Boy, the last couple of years if the NFL were trying to light itself on fire, it couldn't possibly do a better job.

Jesus.  If she's got the evidence to back her claims up, then she's gonna bring a shitload of people down.  Good for her.

I hope she does as well, because if she doesn't have any evidence, this story will feed right into the "making shit up" defense that a million guys want to express these days.

Please tell me she has the goods on Goodell.

Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease

(To clarify, I've never heard any rumors like this about Goodell.  I just don't like him.)

Well, that's one way to get them to rotate on-air talent.

Can't wait to see what comes out of all of this.
Reading some of the texts I now know that Donovan McNabb`s pick up game is sub Jr. High levels of immature. Even compared to the other alleged harrassers. Didn't pull his dick out though so I guess that's restraint.

Oh, and Warren Sapp is a creep. Yet we knew that after he got arrested with prostitutes in 2015 during SuperBowl weekend.

Not only arrested with prostitutes but arrested for assaulting a prostitute. The rest of the allegations are sad and unfortunate if true -- but Sapp? Yeah, the default on that is "He almost definitely probably did that shit."

I think I need a break from Football.

The Broncos are @ the Colts in tonight's Thursday Night matchup. In other words, there is NO Thursday Night game.

I mean if ever there was game that summed up how a lot of people feel about the current state of the NFL it would be this game. I for one, however, am not as down on the NFL, this past weekend's games were a good reason not to give up on the NFL just yet.

I skipped it, despite being a Broncos fan. Game looked to be shit, Siemian got benched (again), and Osweiler won the game with three touchdowns (ugh).

538 has an easy to use predictor for the rest of the season.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2017-nfl-predictions/

I put in my predictions and was surprised to see the Seahawks not making the playoffs. My predictions also led to a Patriots/Eagles SuperBowl, while the Steelers and Vikings both have over 10% chances of winning the championship.
