No not at all. I’m sure there are a lot of players, reporters, and coaches who feel and believe that most owners think this way.

Start the Ryan Mallett to GReen Bay rumors.

Lol, did Romo really say, "Snap the ball so I can go home" during the broadcast? That is awesome.

And I've been saying it in reference to the Kaepernick non-signing for ages (annoying self-back-pat).

To be fair, I don't think it's really about racism. I'm pretty sure they think of their white players like property as well.

They're just a group made up in large part by stupid, entitled assholes. I mean, they let Jerry Jones assume a primary role. How shitty a group are you if you let Jerry Jones speak for you?

Jaguars give a sixth-rounder to the Bills to take DT Marcel Dareus' huge-ass contract off their hands.

And an already scary defensive line just got a little scarier. Too bad he can't pass.

Some racist shitheads protested in Tennessee yesterday.

Browns actually look reasonable in London this morning. Took advantage of a turnover, put up six. Of course the XP got missed. And they're doing a nice job on Case Keenum.

Yes, it looks like today will be a very close loss, a refreshing change from the blowouts.

Update: Browns go to London, stay the Browns.
How was that not a touchdown for the Bears? Officiating is a fucking joke.
I am shocked that the NY Jets are playing respectable football at this point in the season.

Shocked I say!

Breaking your leg doesn't count as "completing the catch."

He completed the catch and rolled with the ball in his elbow. Not once did it touch the field.

That was a terrible call. There was also the face mask. Before the touchdown they did get called against a safety who was about a yard away from the receiver when the flag was thrown

Falcons looked like shit, but we'll take the losing-streak-breaker.

I have no idea why all the fumbled snaps. That better be fixed asap.

Jets fans are irate considering they've all but squandered their chance to pick in the top 5, thus having almost no chance to get one of the QB studs that'll be available.

Texans coaching, you fucking morons.

I cannot believe the absolute mismanagement of that last drive. Run three times and punt when you've got Watson who could've gotten a quick 1st down and wrapped it up.

You don't give the ball back to Wilson with a minute forty left. Fucking idiots.

And, if you do, play fucking defense.

Browns won the first half yesterday 15-13. Since the Browns made it to 7-4 in late November 2014, they've gone 4-41, meaning that first half was one of the Top 5 best team moments of the last three years.

Christ.

The Browns are such a special case of futility and sadness. Some psychologist could make a name for themselves by doing a study on the teams effect on its fanbase.

Mangy,

I'm sorry.  Genuinely sorry.  My team is generally inept, with brief flashes of faux competence and excitement, and as reprehensible an owner as possible.  They also get overpraised the minute they do anything successfully, because of their storied history.  It's basically purgatory.

Your situation is biblical...the Cleveland Browns are positively Jobian.  To add insult to injury, the organization has even changed their uniforms from timeless classic to classically hideous.  They can't even LOOK like those great 80s teams.

But they do keep playing hard.  When Joe Thomas rightfully goes to the HoF in a few years time, they will speak in whispers of how he played 10,000 snaps without a single post-season appearance, and yet was still a first round HoFer.  They will speak of your team as something to overcome, a burden lifted only by saying goodbye to a game Joe loved since he was 8 or 9 years old.

Your fanbase deserves better.

The Thomas injury is easily the biggest bummer this season. They were 1-15 last year and ditched even more talent in the offseason, so my hopes weren't exactly high to begin with. I honestly can't envision how they'd be able to play 4 full quarters of winning football. Cold Fusion makes more sense to me.

But Thomas, man. 10,363 straight snaps. That's insane.

Oh, holy shit.

Looks like Zack Miller had emergency surgery last night to save his leg. Apparently the damage was so bad that they're having to rebuild the vascular system in his lower leg.

I hope Miller sends that officiating crew copies of his surgery pics for reversing that TD.

I just heard about that today. They have a weekly segment on NFL Radio with Dr. David Chao(?) and they went into a whole discussion about grass vs. turf, and he basically said, if you play all your games on turf, you're more likely to have 3-4 leg related injuries vs. 1-2 injuries playing all your games on grass. They also got into some crazy ideas like retractable cleats, that would retract as soon as some part of your body like your knee felt the wrong type of tension so it wouldn't buckle on you and let your foot slide. It was pretty wild.

Whoa, oh,  Garoppolo.

I guess it's better than paying 150 million for Cousins.

Jimmy G. ain't worth a 2nd rounder.

And now that I've said it, he'll throw for 400 yards on Arizona this week.

And it's barely a 2nd-rounder. It'll be the first or second pick of that round.

Someone said Garoppolo woke up 6-2 and will go to bed 0-8.

Jay Ajayi to the Eagles for a 4th rounder. Eagles are kinda loaded.

Cardinals are just watching the rest of the NFC and the NFC West in particular get better.

Just hangin' out. Watchin' ESPN and seein' what's going on. Nah, we don't need to make any changes. We're all fine here. This is fine.

Sounds like that was happening either way--San Fran or Cleveland. I read a bunch of stuff this morning from Mike Silver that Hue Jackson kind of let fly that he didn't want any of the QBs they have there now. He wanted Goff or Garropolo.

I've heard people in the Browns front office have lost their shit over missing out on Garoppolo.

I would think working in the Browns front office on the best of days would still lead one to evaluate one's life choices.

Kelvin Benjamin to the Bills.

Don't worry they went out and got AJ McCarron from the Bengals oh wait no

Bengals and Browns thought they beat the clock on AJ McCarron trade. Clock beat them. Close but no deal.

I'm not even mad; that shit's hilarious.

EDIT: Holy shitballs:

This makes no sense for Carolina. That leaves... what, Ted Ginn, Jr as their entire receiver corps?

Ginn Jr. is a Saint. Having a good year, too.

Shit, that's right.

...who the fuck is catching passes in Carolina, then?

After Benjamin, McCaffrey has the most catches. Devin Funchess will be their lead wide receiver now.

Wonder if this will mean more tosses to Ed Dickson? My tight ends have been garbage this year. Need to get someone off the scrap heap.

Well, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Here in Arizona, most of Papa John's promotions are sports-based. If the Arizona Coyotes win, you get half off your order the day after! If the Cardinals win, you get half off the next day! Except they never fucking win, so they had to switch to half off on game days.

...except no one watches the games because these teams never win, so no one knows about the promotion. They've made their entire branding identity linked to sports and sports fucking sucks this year.

Then at least they are on brand.
I feel dirty cause I actually sort of like Papa Johns, especially the garlic sauce. But fuck that dude.

Their ads need less Peyton Manning, more DIY demolition.

Deshaun Watson tore his ACL in practice. Non-contact injury. Awful news.

That stinks. Haven't really had the chance to watch him play outside of his first game. Highlights of him are electric.
