Would you go to Foxborough in 2018 and then Lambeau in 2019, or the other way around?

I'd go to Foxborough 1st. I have a sneaky feeling this could be Brady's penultimate season. Rodgers is going to be around for at least another 5 years or more.

If next year is going to be Brady's last season they probably wouldn't have dumped Garappolo.  I think he's in for two more years.

I saw that. I think Jones is taking his self declared position as “senior owner” a Little too far.

The NFL is making money hand over fist. Those owners have no reasonable beef with Goodell.

The money aspect aside, I think players, fans, maybe even owners look at Goodell as over stepping his authority. It seems the guy wants to run the League with an iron fist. I honestly don't recall Paul Tagliabu (sp) being this involved in player conduct and discipline.

Jones has very little power at the league level. The other owners don't like him. The players don't like him. Goodell doesn't like him. Jones has repeatedly tried to act like he's the most powerful man in the NFL, and each time he faceplants because he only has the backing of a tiny minority of owners.

He's basically Al Davis without the history to make people want to forgive his lunacy.

Goodell is a shield for the league.  His suspension policy is 100% about PR, rather than actual standards.  Everyone knows why Zeke's penalty is six games.  Because of Ray Rice.  Goodell took at the heat for the owners during the Rice suspension fiasco because that's his job. He probably made it two games in the first place on the advice of Bisciotti, and because at the time they didn't know the climate was going to shift so drastically once the tape came out.  None of this is about Goodell's real stance of discipline, or his actual opinions on any of these matters.  They're not part of decision making.   The only thing that matters to Goodell is that, when he makes a decision, it is final; because why wouldn't he?  You and I would probably delegate that power, make the rulings more fair minded and diplomatic, but that's because we don't have a job like that.  A guy like Goodell isn't going to give up the hammer if he has the hammer.

Jerry is either sore because Goodell's hammer is coming down on his team this time, or he's doing this as a power play for himself.  Trying to flex his muscles and get Goodell out of there- not because whoever they replace him with will be better- but because Jerry Jones making that happen will increase the perception that he is the most powerful owner in the league.

Jerry Jones owns the most valuable sports franchise in the world. He has some power, guys.

Sure, but what does that mean to the other owners? What is he going to do? Have the Cowboys boycott the NFL? Set up his own league? I’m not sure he has the leverage he thinks he has.

He got himself onto the Commissioners compensation committee without actually being appointed to the committee. He just showed up and started calling shots.

You can't really pull something like that if you don't have any support.

But he jut got himself banned from that committee, by acting like a spoiled brat.

Without question.  But all powerful guys want more.  I'm merely saying that this deal with Goodell is not likely about his salary or job performance, unless Jerruh is just butthurt about Zeke.

It's all about Zeke and the anthem stuff.

I'm not denying that Jones is transparently full of shit (imagine living a life so corrupt and awful that you call Papa John "a great American"), but I also think he's the alpha dog among a group of 32 gutless weasels. If he wasn't, Goodell's contract would have been extended months ago.

We got them picks, again! We're trying to shortening things up and make more concise videos. We feel really good about this one, but let us know if this somewhat shorter format is better. Thanks!

I'll believe it come 2:25pm Arizona Time on Sunday.

But I was going to face him in fantasy this week, so yaaaaaaaay!

Almost time to get completely embarrased by Arizona tonight!  Go Heehawks!

I fully expect the Seahawks to not score a touchdown until the 3rd quarter, for rushing to be under 75 yards total, and for Blair Walsh to somehow kick the wrong direction.
Even with all Seattle's defensive injuries, you're all overestimating Drew Stanton.
Seattle, seriously. Just defend Larry and AD. We've got NOTHING ELSE.

I'm still sort of incredulous the Seahawks won.  Wilson probably got a concussion, then skipped protocol, and Sherman is hurt, but hey, we're still in playoff contention!

Sherman's got a ruptured Achilles. It's an existing injury that he seriously shouldn't have been playing on -- but Seattle's defense is decimated. Anyway, I'm not shocked Seattle won. Wilson found our (not) secret weakness, and it's mismatches with tight ends. Also special teams. Also tackling. Also, our whole offense except Larry Fitzgerald.

The game was over when we decided it was a smart idea to run AP into the A gap against a stacked box from our own fucking end zone. Bruce Arians has gone senile.

Ok, that sequence at the end of the first half was the most Browns thing that has happened in the history of the Browns.

John Fox has put himself at the top of "all-time worst challenges" list.

Challenged his way from down at the 2 into a turnover.

Guess who has Ingram on his fantasy team and wore today the jersey he bought in NOLA when Ingram had a 2 TD game against the Lions. It's this guy.

Guess who also picked up Robert Woods on waivers this week.

Spoiler: SHA'BOY D.T.

I was actually about post, based on the fact that the Giants are about to lose to a winless team and badly to boot, should Ben McAdoo even bother to get on the plane back to New York?

McAdoo should take a deep breath and try to absorb what he can from these last few moments.

Because he's fucking done.

The Bucs' Facebook page invited me to watch highlights of their 15-10 win. I'll watch when I have thirty seconds to kill.
I don't understand the Bucs winning. Maybe because the pregame pep talk came from someone who isn't batshit fucking crazy.

I am now approximately 15 years older thanks to the late fourth quarter-overtime of the Jaguars/Chargers game.

What's the deal with Fournette? Are they still punishing him or what?

Jags beat a team that has mastered the art of, "pulling defeat from the jaws of victory" deal.

He's not 100% with the foot. And the Chargers' front four were pretty fucking good today, there was no room to run at all.

I expected the Cowboys to be a lot more formidable today.

I did, too. I took them over the Falcons today, and I guess it's a testament to football being a mental game and how surrounding your team with layer upon layer of drama isn't conducive to winning.
I absolutely expected this to be a "Falcons get right" game. The Cowboys almost always follow up a big win with a choke job. Last year was a fluke, really.

Mind you, I don't think the Falcons will actually get right. Just for this weekend.

Anyways, never pick the Boys when Sean Lee isn't playing.

Time for more picks! Much shorter video this week, so it's perfect for watching during your lunch hour, or that uncomfortable time on Thursdays when you get home from work, the game hasn't started yet, and you don't know what to do with your life. This is what you do with your life today.

I wish I could mute Heather Cox.

It’s MariOta not MariotA.

MARiota with two bad picks. The Titans offense is so odd; Each drive is guaranteed at least one, usually three, goofy plays that make zero sense. Then they somehow score.

Steelers defense is solid, but MarIOta is making them look like the Rams.

MaRRRRRRRRRRRR(rolling R)iota had a bad first half, but he always seems to have bad first halves. I'm guessing the Titans will remain inexplicably close, even as they do goofy plays like that formation where the tight end and receiver were literally facing the line of scrimmage before the snap.

As long as AB stays quiet in the second half. Steelers can score all the points they want, but Brown already has 15 points against me and that's enough.

Who's he think he is, Robert Woods or somebody?
Yes, that's the way Titans. No press coverage on AB in the redzone. Let him walk into the end zone uncontested.

Sorry, D.T.
