GHOSTBUSTERS meets the X-FILES. Doesn't look like a stretch for them but it looks funny, and I sure as shit need that:

I'm sold. I like Scott and Robinson and that is enough to give this a chance.

What the hell is that supposed to be about? They're selling this immensely vague sci-fi premise strung together with non-stop quips and obfuscating anything to do with an actual story.

And yet, you seem surprised by that.

Surprise and frustration are different things. Maybe it's just a bad trailer, but it's weirdly oblique.

"Adam Scott and Craig Robinson riff while running away from sci-fi. Not aliens, not ghosts, but sci-fi."

Bizarre.

It's not a bad show, some good laughs here and there.

It's not great by any means, but I did get a kick out of the entire crew taking a breather from their mission briefing so Scott could meticulously fact-check Robinson's claim to have all the Rocky movies on VHS.

Watched most of the first episode and couldn't even make it through it, HATED IT.

There was a time when that level of writing and directing might have cut it, but not now. gawd and the editing was horrible. I like Scott and Robinson, though, and the premise is okay.

Does it get better?

Scott and Robinson stay good.  And Amber Stevens West stays laugh-in-the-face-of-God beautiful, if that's your thing.
