One I can’t believe I forgot:

Game of Thrones:
- “We can hold them off!” but then a roar is heard in the distance, followed by the return of dragons to the fields of battle in Westeros after centuries.
-“How many of them?” “A hundred thousand at least” And the look of absolute horror in Jaime Lannister’s face sums up just how hopeless things are for all of Westeros.
-Tyrion and Cersei’s private meeting. Absolutely heartbreaking.
-The reveal not just of Jon’s true lineage...but that he is, legitimately, the rightful heir of the Iron Throne...all while Jon and Danny succumb to passion, not knowing they are falling into the same madness and invest of their bloodline.

VICE PRINCIPALS: "The Wizard marched out of his kingdom. Not the one he desired, but the one he earned. And the Warrior, finding peace within himself, finally found the treasure he was searching for. The Kingdom was lost, but across galaxies and across dimensions a friendship was forged between good and evil, the likes of which this land had never seen nor would see again."

Could have quoted a shitload of lines (and a magnificent fist fight) from one of the best shows I saw this year, but that'll do. That'll do.

I could also pick a bunch of moments from BIG LITTLE LIES, one of the best things on TV in a very good year, but here's one, described by Jia Tolento:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
"In the finale, just before the climax, as a ballad drifts in from the lantern-lit party, fifteen remarkable seconds pass. One of Jane’s P.T.S.D. flashbacks has merged with the present, confirming Perry’s identity; her face becomes a mask of fear. Madeline looks at her, follows her gaze to Perry, and then looks back at Jane, altered—she’s figured it out. Madeline catches Celeste’s eye and turns it toward Jane, who nods almost imperceptibly. The show’s twist has been communicated wordlessly among all three of them. Witnessing this, Perry panics, and lunges forward to bludgeon his wife."

Edited. The whole taskbar for adding spoiler tags disappeared on my laptop. It's there on my phone.
That said, it's a given that there are going to be potential spoilers in here. What I wrote was vague enough that you shouldn't understand the significance unless you've seen the film.

Appreciated.  Suggest unspoiling the movie title, leaving the moment within spoiler tags (if your laptop allows it) to let people decide for themselves if they want to see it.  And yes, I will heed your advice to stay out of this thread until I see it.

I have NEVER heard an audience reaction like the reaction to that moment. Like everyone was simultaneously trying to gasp in awe and cheer in the same breath.
