Reading Monday's Chud Fact about Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe reminded of Sunday night while watching the Oscars with my Mother. When Hilary Swank won and she was up at the podium, and it cut to a shot of Chad Lowe crying, my mom, not knowing hardly anything about the film except that it was a true story about a woman trying be a man, actually thought that Chad Lowe was the guy/girl the film was based on. Needless to say, I didn't bother explaining it to her.
