Duke,

You started picking up Incredible Hulk yet? They has a twenty-five cent issue last week that might be worth your while. I'm sure you're pretty excited about this Friday - we get to see the old melon-head on the big screen!

I picked up the first Bruce Jones trade but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. There seems to be a revolving door of artists on that book ( -- at least three since Jones started?). But since I like what I've seen so far, it shouldn't be a problem (unlike New X-Men). Based on Devin's recommendation, I'm thinking about picking up an Exiles trade next.

As for the movie, my expectations have not been set relatively high based on the early cgi work I've seen. However, I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Ang Lee should be able to handle the character stuff well enough -- I'm just hoping ILM comes through on their end. I'm sure there are some nice money shots that haven't been released yet in the trailers/commercials.

But with Ang's non-superhero approach, I'm worried we won't see The Leader or the Abomination in the sequel!!!

I'm not much of a fan of the current run of The Hulk, to be fair I have never been a big fan of the comic. I've just always felt there is not much you can do with the character and the book has always had bad dialogue and mediocre characters.

Is Exiles worth picking up? I like Winick's current run on Green Arrow and Blood + Water is one of my new favorite titles.
