So, I'm totally addicted to Y: The Last Man...

... is anyone else?

I think that it's the best monthly currently on the shelves, personally.

I agree with you on that.

Y: The Last Man is one of the few books that I have heard nothing but good to great reviews about. I haven't followed the series in fear of becoming totally additcted like you have, which was what happened when I picked up my first issues of:

- Ultimate Spider-Man
- The Ultimates
- Runaways
- Sentinel
- Birds of Prey

Fuck it, I'm going to add "Y" to my "comic book addictions" list. Life's too short anyways.

I definetly think Y is one of the better books out there, although it a got a little slow in the middle of Cycles and One Small Step. Still, I think it's a must-buy book.

It sags a bit in the middle, but that doesn't stop this from being one of the flat out best comics series of the decade. I hope you continue to enjoy it, Feral.

If there's one comic you can give to anyone to get them into comics, it's this one.

There's definitely a lag in a couple of later trades, but don't let it get to you because the end is AWESOME.

What a well time bump for me as well, I picked up the first few trades and am looking forward to starting this sucker this week.

Let me know when you guys are all caught up to discuss spoilers.

Got the first three books for Christmas, and I am hooked. The girlfriend offered to grab me the rest for Valentine's but no way in hell am I waiting that long.

Try not to rush through it and enjoy the ride. Nothing in life made me happier than when a the next issue of Y was due out.

I just read book two, and there is no way in hell I will be slowing down to enjoy it, Matches. This is one hell of a book. Hero is a bitch!
Hahahaha. Maybe I'm just projecting because I was the one schlub who actually read them issue by issue since #1 and I'm jealous you get to read it at your behest.

I always thought Volume Five was a good stopping point. If the series was a TV show, that would be its first season's finale.
No spoilers yet.
I love the artwork. Some covers are really amazing.
Why does this hasn't been adapted to TV?!
I checked out all volumes of the book from the library. Read it in one day. I'm still in withdrawal.

My favorite ending of anything ever. That last issue is burned into my memory (even though I've forgotten several of the major story arcs).

Holy shit! I was chocked with that final death. I have to take a pair of deep breaths to keep reading. I was saying to myself this will let me sorrow but that last pane was all greatness.
The covers of the last issues are amazing.

QF Posterity.

Minor commentary. I had to stop reading this for awhile. The smart ass routine with Yorick and his teacher sounded too much like myself talking to all my former teachers.
