Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and From Dusk Till Dawn from BB yesterday.
The Thing. Was a bitch deciding between that and the new Gremlins disc.
reservoir dogs (mr. Brown) 8-24-02

here's the fun thing. I bought it at a flee market with no refunds and I pulled the fucker out of the bag in my car and the bottom left corner is fucking smashed. The outer case is ripped and so is some of the back cover.

i guess that's the chance you take, though.

Life as a House. Pants. People liked this film?
Ghostbusters, $10, Wal-Mart. Damn bargain.
I bought Pulp Fiction SE. And somehow got FDTD for free..
Toombstone Vista Series DVD, and I have to say that it is a sweet package, but the Timeline thing sucks. It would have been nice to include a mute option for that narrator.

My last DVDs I purchase were Evil Dead (Book of the Dead cover), and Fight Club.

Not I. When characters are dying of cancer and try and keep it a secret and then also have life affirming messages, I wonder how it escaped the lifetime network. Hey I saw American Beauty too, and guess what? I didn't like it that much the first time.

Picked up last nite:

The Sopranos 3rd Season (Wal-Mart 69.99)
Reservoir Dogs - Mr Brown (Wal-Mart 18.88)

I might add that the Drea de Matteo is worth the purchase price of all these season sets.

Van Wilder Unrated ($16.99)- Best Buy

Sure, there were many, many better choices for my single purchase, but I wanted laughs and titties. According to Nick, there are plenty of both in this flick.
Resevoir Dogs (Mr. Brown) (Fred Meyers $19.99) my brother's in town so I didn't know if I'd be able to make it to Best Buy for Brown, and of the five, that's the only one that makes sense.
Anyone getting the SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK set today?
If I can find it.

I loved that show.

Best Buy -- unadvertised package deal.

Picked up Tarantino -- Pulp Fiction: CE; Jackie Brown:CE & Reservoir Dogs: 10-year.

Expecting to pay: $17.99 ea for Pulp & Jackie, $15.99 for RD. Rang up as $15.49 ea for Pulp & Jackie, $10.99 for RD + immediate $5.00 gift card.

I got those three Tarantinos + Spy Kids for the children -- total bill $66.06 (and a $5.00 GC). Can't beat that with a stick.
Nice deal.

But you can beat anything with a stick.
My Best Buy had a serious shortage of Reservoir Dogs and Last House on the Left when I stopped by Tuesday evening.

Ended up getting:

Shatter (11.49)
Proof of Life (13.49)

Circuit City today after work to pick up Reservoir Dogs, The Fog, Last House.

Big, even if you don't buy the whole set of Tarantino, it's still a good deal: $15.99 + $5.00 GC.
actually, the receipt says 10.99 and 5 bucks for gift card

so its really 15.99 get a free 5.00 gift card

not 10.99 with a free gift card

that make sense?

anyhow

Sponge Bob Halloween Tales 15 bucks

both at Fred Meyer

I listened to the cast Commentary last night, it's great. I could not stop laugh when Howie Mandel did a few lines as Gizmo for the commentary.

"I was stuck in that box for 2 hours!"

Hilarious.

I must find Trainspotting CE cheap!! Anyone know where I can get it cheaper than $26? So many DVD's so little time and so little money.

Good choice, my man! Naked Alyssa is always a great thing. (Yes, hers is the "long lost" episode that never aired here in the States, 'cause it's "too racy"). Don't get you're hopes up, though... it's rather tame.
