Equilibrium DVD packaging question

I just picked this up, and my copy had no interior booklet. Not even a sheet with the scene listings. I was wondering if this was normal for this release, or if my copy was somehow deficient in packaging goodness.
Shit... hope not.

I will let you know in a couple hours when I get back with mine.

just bought my copy from suncoast.

No insert.

sadness.

No insert in mine either. This is happening a lot lately. Sucks.

No insert.
My other sources tell me.....none.

At least we have a nice looking/sounding film to tide us over until the Collector's Insert Edition is released. It's worth the double dip.

Geeze, talk about bare bones release...
I noticed "Frailty" and "Far From Heaven" were like this too. What happened to studios at least putting a track listing insert? Are they getting that cheap on us?
I'm likin' this puppy so far, though...writer was definately a fan of Logan's Run's better character moments.
That puppy WAS pretty damn cute.

To overconfirm, I too had no insert.

I mean, I can get an insert. Don't get me wrong. I can get an insert any time I want! I was just... tired. I have an insert right now! Your lucky I don't have a webcam, cause then you could see the size of this ins...

Okay. Enough.

Nothing inside. It made me weep.

Well, thanks everyone. I'm glad it wasn't just me. I was getting a smidge paranoid there.
No insert here, either. I was hoping that there would be a message from Kurt saying, "Thank you to everyone who saw and enjoyed the films, especially you groovy cats at CHUD!"

But, alas...
Gotta love how crappy the whole package was put together. Anyone think the DVD itself a little flimsy?
I'm surprised about the poor treatment of this DVD. I mean, honestly, Dimension LOVES this flick... I don't see why they'd shit-can it like this.

They do love it, right? Right?

Disney stopped packing their DVDs with inserts in May. Universal (Far From Heaven) Stopped in April. Lion's Gate (Frailty) never used inserts in the first place.

Lion's Gate at least prints the chapter list on the back packaging for Dagon. Is that typical of Lion's Gate?
That sucks nuts. I like inserts. I never really use the chapter lists, but it's nice having comething to read while the movie loads up.

Oh well. I guess there's no room in this world for those little touches of kindness anymore.

So this means no more inserts in any Disney or Universal DVD? If so, what the fuck? It cost what... $0.15 to make each insert, maybe. I don't see the big deal with just throwing in a chapter list with maybe a pic of the promo poster on the other side(this is basically what all the inserts were anyway). Damn, and I used to admire Universal and Disney for their treatment of DVD's.

Yes, Lion's Gate has done that for as long as I can remember.

I've always found the chapter inserts pretty useless. This is extraordinarily low on my list of DVD gripes. For something *far* more angering, IMO, please read khitcher's Ringo Lam thread.

Is this a Death Wish 4 reference?

And my copy didn't have an insert ether. Who cares anyway, knowing dimension it'd just be a copy of the front cover with chapter titles in the back. No big loss IMO.
For those of you interested a fan has created his own insert and has allowed me to include it on my site. Please feel free to print or save it if you wish.

I bet it is. I haven't seen Death Wish 4, but I've been here in CHUD long enough to start unknowingly absorbing other people's movie knowledge.

Thanks Johnny Butane!

I could care less about an insert. I'm in agreement that if there happened to be one it'd just be a crappy single-sheet slapjob anyhow.

As for the DVD itself, I keep putting the damn thing in my player upside down. I keep my lounge rather dim.

Yeah yeah, get a lamp.

You puny Americans! Although we in Canada waited an extra week for EQ to be released, I was blessed with a very fantastic looking insert in my copy tee hee!
