NES. The best system available for $4.00

I love my NES. I always have. I love the other systems, too, don't get me wrong. I just think that some of the most addictive games this side of Goldeneye have come from the NES. I think a lot of NES games are more fun than a lot of other games out there.

Graphics. Who cares? I remember reading reviews on GTA that gave it sh*t for having bad graphics. I didn't really notice, being that I was having too much FUN. It's the same way with the NES. I've played N64 games that bit me on the ass, but had really pretty graphics. On the flip-side, Rescue: The Embassy Mission (which begs for a remake) had little old 8-bit graphics, but had a much better replay value than, say, Superman on the N64.

The NES music still haunts me. My brother and I would put Alien3 in the NES, turn on the surround sound, and rock out to track 13. See for yourself.

Am I right?

The Golgo 13 games were a couple of my favorites. I liked the feeling of playing like I was James Bond (before they had James Bond games, mind you). Lotsa good ol' spy stuff.

Speaking of which, I saw a Golgo 13 video at a music store today. Something like Golgo 13: Queen Bee. Anyway, I was thrilled. Anyone know if it's any good?

I could go on and on. I have about 50 games for this and adore almost every one of them. I still am known to play 'em on occasions. I still have my old Atari and a lot of those games kick ass too!

Maniac Mansion. The only game I know of where you can put a hamster in the microwave ("Pop!"), return its remains to its owner, and then get killed for it.

UPDATE: I've just transfered all of my Dad's NES, SNES, 3DO, and Jaguar stuff over to my place. As soon as my T.V. decides to work again, I can become a COMPLETE slob.

Metal Gear, Solid Snake, TMNT: Tournament Fighters. A few of my favs. Anybody remember Crystalis? That was a neat one.
Oh you brought us there.

Metal Gear kicked total ass back in the day. And then to have played the newest on the Play Station? OH MY GOD! Even though graphics and stuff have gotten better, its the SAME GAME (concept, weapons, etc.) THAT FREAKING ROCKED MY WORLD!

I felt 12 again. Of course I feel 12 often.

Yeah, and we also live in our parent's basements, we're virgins, and we're all really good friends with Sal Manila.

Riiiiight.

Wow. I completely killed the thread with that one.

Here's another old one: Fester's Quest. The weird little guns you could get were cool. The one that shot out those black curving balls (looked like bowling balls) was the best and coolest. And the music! Addams groove!

HOW COULD YOU GUYS FORGET BIONIC COMMANDO?

That game rocked, and Tiger Heli, and so many more...
I never forget BIONIC COMMANDO-

"I want to tell you a story of when I was young...

In 199X..."

I LOVE 199X! It's so funny! So many Nintendo games started that way!

An evil woman has my Nintendo and I can't get it back. I left it at her house.

I hate life-I'm going to go punch her out.
