House of Pain is great, especially their second album (Running Up On Ya is a fucking classic) but c'mon, better than the beasties? No way.

Totally overrated Beastie album...yet still miles above most anything else. Check Your Head is the real business.

Like pariah, I like House of Pain better but they're two totally different styles of rap. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, I just have a preference to HOP's style.
