Pretty much self-explanatory. There are only a couple of "rules":

1) Have fun
2) Be courteous
3) Danny Elfman is NOT that good

I love Danny Elfman. The fact that he was replaced by Elliott Goldenthal for the Batman films makes me want to cry.

By the way, I'm sure I am not the only soul who believes Danny Elfman is vastly over-rated and one-dimensional... so bring it.

I'll give him this though: He's good at what he does, just like Burton is. Problem is, that's just ONE thing.

At least he is saccarin shit like James Horner is now.

Uh, Goldsmith hasn't touched a Batman film... yet. You're thinking of Elliott Goldenthal, who is MUCH better already than Elfman will ever be.

The only problem with his Batman scores are that they try to sound more like Elfman than the layered gothic beauty Goldenthal showed with "Interview With The Vampire" or the textured "Michael Collins" score.

Carl, you've fulfilled your quota of little happy smiley faces.

Yeah, Goldenthal did great work for Heat, but
also Moby in the last five minutes of the film...God Moving Over the Face of Waters...

Goldenthal also did the soundtrack for Alien 3, best thing about the flick probably.
