Yeah, a friend and I are gonna develop a Nintendo game about it.

"A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A..." FOR THREE DAYS STRAIGHT. All while holding "up" on the control pad.

I think you should be able to try and run like a bitch when you fall. Not that you could ever make it, but for the first few days of having the game, you would damn sure try your ass off.

"It" is my sentimental favorite, although I think his best written books so far have been The Dead Zone, The Green Mile and the Low Men in Yellow Coats section of Hearts in Atlantis. Also love the Stand, The Shining, Carrie, Salem's Lot, all the short story collections and various sundry King stuff. The only things I wasn't completely crazy about were Rose Madder and Gerald's Game. The voice in them is so different from the other stuff. I love how in "On Writing" he says he was doing so much blow he doesn't even remember writing Cujo.

"It" is a godamn masterpiece. King should have a two pulitzers, one for Green Mile, and the other for Hearts in Atlantis.

I am also of the opinion that his books need to be remade for the big screen, starting with It. The miniseries is not gory enough and there's not enough of the kids in the series and it's stupid and I said it so it must be so. Same with the Stand.

My favorite, however, is Nighmares and Dreamscapes. Do you know how many fucking classics are in that one book, and how many kick ass movies could be made from them?

Finished "Rose Madder" tonight. With the exception of the last bits (too cluttered, but maybe I'm missing something), it's a great, great read.

King is a bonafide genius. Of this, I am convinced with every King book I read.
