WHO'S YOUR BASEBALL TEAM?

Well for me there's only two I can watch all day long every day.

The Braves.

The Yankees.

Fave players of all time:

Reggie Jackson, Don Mattingly, Paul O'Neill

Don Mattingly is God.

He's a freaking tragic hero. All those years he was about the only thing worth watching between the white lines at Yankee Stadium, then his back goes out, and WHAMMO! The Yanks win 3 out of 4 World Series.
The Yankees had something like 17 shortstops while he was playing before Jeter came along, and he still won a bucket full of gold gloves.
And he always took it like a man when the Yankees pitching went south and they dropped in the standings in late summer.
Don't make 'em like him anymore.

I think Paul O'Neill is cut from the same cloth, as is Bagwell. Jason Kendall, a few others.

Grunts who are old fashioned in their approach.

I want to thank the current posters for not using this as a place to bash sports or derail the topic.

If you don't like the topic, ignore it!

I love O'Neil. The game's never boring when he's around.

Gotta go with the O's. Cal Ripken Jr. is a fricken God here in MD.

We get shot here in Denver if we don't say The Rockies! Or the Broncos! Or the Avalanche!

We get shot if we say The Nuggets. Or the Rapids.

There is only one team. The Braves.
Nick, your choices are going to make it difficult for you with the upcoming series between the Braves and the Yankees. The Yankees were hurting without Jeter. Jr's back now though. What do you think is going to happen?

The Yanks' offense will pick up. I just wish Knoblauch would start getting more extra-base hits than errors. Braves look good, though.

let's go phils! being from philadelphia stinks sometimes and it's not just a whiff of new jersey. maybe if schilling wasn't doing so poorly and we had a better rotation we'd have a shot at third in the division (let alone not being in the celler), but all i can say is: let's go realignment! i hope the braves are moved elsewhere so we can start losing to the mets every year instead of both the braves and the mets.

Paul O'Niell.

Hmm. It may never be boring while he's around, but it sure is OLD! If this man gets any older, I'LL get age spots.

Braves are the best team. Dale Murphy and Ryan Klesko (shut it, everyone) are among the favorites.

Oh, and Paul Mahoney, Phil Knox, Gary Bombard, Balton Aulls, and Max Stone are all rookie sensations.

Of course, only Nick will get this joke.

Mike Paul, Fred Kendrick, Frank Reynolds, Ash Aulls, and Ysalimri are not to be forgotten.

These are baseball players, if you play MLB 2001.
