Yeah...there really is so much on this one that I haven't even been able to peruse it all myself yet.
Of course, I also have no incentive, as I write fiction and not screenplays...but I can adapt should money ever become an issue.
Speaking of which, screenplays would seem to be the way to go to make money. A novel has to go through a number of drafts and then sell to a publisher, and see publication a year or so later, and if sales suck, then it's hard to get published again.
Screenplays can sell for high five to mid-six figures, even for an unknown, and after you sell it they don't WANT you to write it again, they want to pay someone else to do it. Sell enough, then they start paying you to write on OTHER people's screenplays.
