Who sings it, and what is it called?

There is an alternative rock band, and they sing a song that I want to find on mp3. I forgot their name and the song title, but here's what I remember...

The lead singer had the Clooney-ripoff trimmed bangs, but with a more 60's throwback look. The burns too.

The band wore throwback-ish clothes, but it was more alternative bandish in nature than intentional old-school.

They were in a 60'ish lounge, bar or restaurant area, and at one point "lead singer" was hanging from a ledge inside the avacado green showered room.

He sang into a scream during the chorus. It was some kind of melodic scream thing, as opposed to pointless screeching. Though it was a bit to adjust to.

I have heard the fucking song only once, on MTV. Help me figure out the band a name?

Seriously though, I dont know, but Ill keep an eye out for it.

Well Im glad you found out because I went through some hell for you. I was bored, nothing to do so I decided to watch MTV thinking I might see the video you described. So here I am watching a channel I never watch, when Kid Rock's American Badass comes on. I immediately go to change it but I am not fast enough and I am sucked into this video (which I had never seen before) and can't seem to pull away. Its like morbid fascination, like a car wreck, I want to look away but somehow I cant. Too flashy.

So anyway, now I have that stupid song in my head and have Kid Rock's fur-clad image burned into my brain.

The only perk in the video is that it has Ron Jeremy in it and as we ALL know, Ron 'The Hedgehog' Jeremy in music videos is ALWAYS a good laugh.

I hope it was MTV 2, because TRYING to see a full non-TRLified video on MTV is like paddling up Niagra Falls without a Viking Boat Oar.

In terms of analogies I was dying to find this song! I went through bullshit on Napster like Dennis Leary going through cigarettes waiting in a maternity ward. (Thanks Dennis Miller)

And Grim... YIKES! Be careful not to nerd your way off the "REALLY Kicks Ass" list.

Neil almost made it for this call, and once he gets more posts, he might. Same with Shelby, who seems to be intent on finding a post on said roster.

General Logan, you get MTV2? That is SO not fair. I live like 10 min away from your area and I dont get it! But I get MuchMusic and The Box so I guess that makes up for it (although The Box is pretty much all rap). So yes it was regualar MTV. And I shall never be the same Ok, thats being a bit melodramatic.

grim_fist, I can't tell if you are joking or not. Is there really a Braveheart dance remix?
