I can't believe I'm posting a sports topic.

Is anyone else out there totally addicted to the Olympic coverage? My TV has been set on NBC for the past four days now. I know the names of many of the US atheletes and some of those from other countries as well. This is certainly a first for me.

And you guys from Atlanta. When the games were there 4 years ago (was it really that long ago?) did the whole place go completely nutso? I don't think I would know whether to go try to soak up the international vibes or stay as far from the madding crowd as possible.

The Atlanta Olympics were silly. Everyone predicted that we'd have too many people here and that there wouldn't be enough space for all the visitors. So people were leaving town and putting their houses up for rent while the games were going on.

Then like not many people showed up and every one wasted their time.

But the games were cool.

Did you see what happened to Bailey this year? That was so sad. To be beaten down by the flu like that.

We had the Olympics here in Montreal 24 years ago and we got a massive useless stadium that we're still paying for in the bad part of town a half hour away from everything and canada didn't win a single gold
