For my 600th post, I think I'll take this time to discuss the important of heroes in the free world.
Heroes aren't the cool dudes as seen in movies but in fact just regular folk like you or me. By doing things that as a result bring about the spiritual, conceptual, and or direct inspiration of others to follow a similar course of action are heroic actions by nature.
This means that an everyday and seemingly meaningless gesture such as opening the door for a pretty woman, or handing the last copy of the latest Jean-Claude Van Damme video to a six year old who believes he's his biggest fan can in fact be a heroic feat.
Thusly, an everyday occurrence can become an adventure. By giving up your free time to find your girlfriend's kid the last Star Wars figure he needs to complete his collection, you partake in an epic adventure on par with the writings of Robert E. Howard. The same principals apply minus the bloodshed because to said child, it is a life and death matter that if you should fail would bring about enough disapointment to crush his world to ruins.
So remember, life is and can become an adventure every bit as powerful and exciting as the latest Bruckheimer flick.
Live and create accordingly...
