Too bad I have a PC...otherwise this puppy would be good for away from home digital editing and such.

Not to mention a game or two.

Solution. Throw your PC away. wink

I'm on a Mac right now and I downloaded the beta version of Safari, Apple's new web browser. Believe me, IE is getting a mighty kick in the crotch. This thing is fucking FAST. And pretty to boot.

Sony's had a widescreen VAIO laptop for some time now. Aside from that and the backlit keyboard, there's not much to set this apart.

Actually Scott you will find that PC manufacturers are making significant strides in building a niche in the NLE (Non Liner Editing) department. Many manufacturers have actually pre made computers and computer packages made for Home Cinema and Pro Cinema....

I was mainly givin' you a hard time CT. My main problem with PC's is that they aren't as sexy as Macs.
No...they are no where near as sexy as Macs.

Hey, blunt, So you're digging Safari? I'd never heard of it before you mentioned it. I just read up on it on Version Tracker and am going to load it tonight. Have you had any major issues?

No problems so far, only little flaw I've found is that scrolling down using the mouse wheel is not as fast as it is on IE, but given that is a beta version, I'm guessing it will be fixed. Other than that, it's a great browser, so much that I'm tempted to steal my dad's Powerbook before going back home to my PC.

Being a PC-guy, this is what I feel about Macs (as well as that PowerBook G4):

yes, it's a color that's only good on clothes and seen horribly on old camaros and firebirds.
