Movie Name Changes

Now that I have HBO (plus Encore and TMC), I've started noticing something with a lot of old 80's movies...they've changed the names of the original to something else. I'm not talking about "Revenge of the Jedi" to "Return..." but a complete name change, not only listed on the schedule, but redone during the title credits as well. Huh? One that comes to mind is "Don't Tell Her It's Me" has changed to the title of the book it was based from, "The Boyfriend School".

Has anyone else noticed this? And does anyone work for HBO or Showtime, etc., and can explain this?

Edited because I'm stupid...see Django's post below...

Uh Like Father, Like Son is the Dudley Moore/Kirk Cameron switch "comedy."

Remember...

First there was Like Father Like Son...
Then there was Visa Versa...
And lastly there was 18 Again...

DAHHH!!!! That's right! I forgot there was a third gunman on the grassy knoll. Vice Versa was the one with Judge Reinhold and Fred Savage. Once again Django, I bow before your infinite movie knowledge. Now when are you going to be on "Beat The Geeks"???
