This thread makes me want to show everyone involved Eric Rohmer's Suzanne's Career. I think the Six Moral Tales should be essential viewing for any film lover worth his salt, but I keep thinking about that in relationship to this. Patrick, you should totally watch them as soon as you can.

Good for you. I agree with what everybody else has said...she IS NOT going to make a move, and at this point it appears that she is just using you as her non-gay gay friend. That is to say, she has no problem hanging out, flirting and having fun with you as long as nothing serious comes of it. She knows what you want, she has no intention of giving in and setting up Penthouse Forum scenarios is not going to change anything. The smartest thing Will Kane said in this thread is that he isn't going to follow her around like a puppy. Make it known that you are where it's at. If she's with you she's with you, but the train is about to depart. If she's not on it you have other fish to fry. It is pretty simple, look into her eyes, use her name, and get her to talk about herself. If she touches her hair or leans in and rubs her chest just below the neck while talking to you, you're in. I use this all the time and the amount I get laid is way disproportionate to my physical attractiveness.

Yeah...I didn't even bother making a move on her the second night. It's kinda pointless, but I'm not worried. She's a nice gal and we have small-talk at work, have been out at the bar with a bunch of co-workers. We'll be friends and that's fine.

Thanks for all the advice, though. More carpal tunnel for me!
