Please give me list of ways to occupy myself so that I forget that I'm sad. Or that I'm kicking myself in the ass. ;/

Remember that YOU control the remote control.

Wanna sit in your underear, eat cheetos and scratch yourself? Feel free.

Whenever one of your friends wants to whine about their latest fight with their signifigant other, just smile and remember your life is your own.

Want to flirt with a stranger in a public place? Feel free.

Want to take a trip out of town, on a whim? Feel free.

Want to fix your favorite dinner? Feel free.

More than anything else, FEEL FREE.

Get back in touch with yourself, believe me, it's worth it.

Reconnect with your family.
oh yeah... write. and keep writing... and if you don't write, do something else to express yourself.

Come to NYC for a girls night out!

(Although if I remember correctly your boy lives in NYC. But you can make new memories.)

You're so naughty... wink
And you're a perv, but I love you anyway.

I meant mentally, but, hey, masturbation works too. At least you don't have to talk to anyone when it's over, you can just roll over and go to sleep.

In other words, you get to act like most men do after sex... Bam! Take that men! Wait a minute...

Who says I was just talking about men? That's what I prefer to do after a good session.

Oh, Deev, I'm coming up again soon anyway. Girls night out!

Buy a monkey, teach it how to cook, clean, rent porn.

Then slowly waste away in an armchair of your choice while you develop an allergic reaction to soap and sunlight and your underwear merges with your body like some freaky second skin. Getting up only to beat the monkey for not changing the dvd quick enough.

Or, if you don't want to have any fun, you could go out and meet new people and do crazy singles stuff.

But monkeys get my vote every time.

To answer your question, though, Prala my dear, I think Jacob Singer (if that is his real name) nailed it right on the head.

Now is a time not to regret or reflect, but to look ahead and enjoy your new-found freedom!
Run naked through the streets (my address is 38...)
Say what you want, to whom you want, when you want
Do everything you couldn't do before without double-checking first
Live it up
Eat lots of cake
Go out in sweatpants
(givememoney)
Spend freely
Watch the kinda movies you like
Listen to Tone Loc at the highest possible volume
(giveme5stars)
Sleep in
Sleep out
Burp, fart, keep the bathroom door open and the seat down
When you're finally back at peak Prala state, and ready to pounce, begin the hunt once more

I've been single for a while, too, so I feel your pain. You ever wanna bitch and rant, I'm here.

Good luck, babe! It'll be a piece of cake! Mmmm...cake

You do have me on speed-dial, don't you? wink

I apologize for being so closed-minded. Men are great, of course. Women, too. Whatever you were referring to (and feel free to elaborate ), I apologize...

You guys really like the monkeys don't you?

Also, pirana, as far as the DC goth clubs go, been there done that. I'm alllll about where I get the free drinks now.

I'm planning on handmaking valentines day cards for my friends. And painting. And working on applications for school. And starting yoga. And drinking.

(nice how I slipped that one in, eh?)

I'm currently making flyers to tell people they need to take down their Xmas lights.

That's so funny. My dad always keeps his Xmas stuff up 'till July, at which point there are no more needles on the tree and all the ornaments have selflessly taken themselves off the tree for him. Poor bastards...

If only we'd had someone like you around to poke your nose in our business! wink

Xymog, I really like what you said. Good advice!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - you rock, Prala! Whoever has left you single, (bad Mr. T impression coming...) I pity the fool!

Thanks, nice person! There are so many other things one could distribute flyers for, the mind reels...

Just go pick you up a cheap dime store novel. It will be a whole lot better and more satisfying. Of course that is what Blofeld told me. wink

Ever thought of chokin' hookers? You wouldn't believe the stress that it relieves. Just walk up, grab 'em, and choke the hell out of them....The real fun comes when they start to stink. MMMM...stinky hookers....

Prala, Prala, Prala... You got me all wrong, my friend. I didn't mean to imply they literally "left" you, I just meant that you are now single, and they have left. And that I pity the fool, of course. Glad to hear it was mutual, though. That's the best way.

Who in their right mind would leave you? Even I'm not stupid enough to think that!

MY attention span doesn't last that long.

Also, flyers, when you're done, could you also do my windows? Thanks.
