It's funny, but I've never gotten the hiccups from drinking. In fact, I can't think of any of my friends who does. Good to know there's a reason for the stereotype, though. Thanks, Shelby!

I've only had the hiccups once while drunk, and that was while watching Van Wilder. It always takes some serious concentration for me to get rid of them, but that night, with alcohol, I couldn't for like an hour...it sucked.
