In my lifetime, no less. I owe somebody a dollar.
Big deal.
Say, maybe there is a God...
Wonder if that whole 'legal sodomy' thing was too much for him?
What took so fucking long?

Loser racist asshole.
Can't wait to hear the Trent Lott eulogy.
I hope it hurt.

Well there goes the last living slave owner.

You know he started out a Democrat...what the fuck was that all about...
Wait, what am I talking about? I'm from Chicago, not exactly the home of enlightened Dems...
Let's have a CHUD party at his gravesite!
Yeah, this is just what I needed...an excuse to go out celebrating this weekend.
Stick your Razorcock of Agony in his dessicated old ass and spin him like a windchime for me, Satan.

"Doctors say the official cause of death was 'cracking in half.'"
This sucks. Now who is Jay Leno gonna make fun of when there's a dinosaur discovery?
It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy......
Haha. Old man died. Burn in hell, wrinkle-dick.
I wish he went out tripping and then falling down the captial steps. BOOM..BOOM..BOOM..BOOM...*crunch*
post #17 of 24
Anyone wanna tell me who this guy is?

The oldest dude ever. He was a South Carolina senator, once fillabustered for over twenty four hours to block the civil rights act of 1957. He was really, really old.
...

Can someone credible tell me who this guy was?
And old, old racist former senator. I call him wrinkle-dick.
Thank you Gruber. I suppose it's not a bad thing he's dead then.
He clearly broke his end of the deal with the Cenobites. He was supposed to live forever once he solved the Lament Configuration back in 54 B.C., but I guess that fell through.
And here I thought there were no more good "Man, Thurmond's old" jokes. Thanx, Gruber.

Thurmond's five-page NYT obit is an interesting read (if somewhat strained in its positivity). Some surprising anecdotes stand out among the vileness and provincialism, such as the fact that he was decorated for-while in his mid-forties-participating in the Normandy landing as a glider pilot.

When I heard about this, the first image that popped into my head was the Skeksis emperor crumbling into dust from The Dark Crystal.
