What beer do you drink when you watch movies at home?

Thread Starter
I find Coronas are good when I watch comedies.

Amstel for dramas.

I save the hard liquor for movies I know are going to be bad-- you get more laughs out of them.

Heineken is banned from my house for it's soccer mom connotations as is Budwieser since it tastes like fermented cat piss.

Cheers!

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the best all-around beer I know.

Harp. Or, if I feel particularly dark and brooding, Guinness.

But the question was what BEER you drink.

I had some Yuengling while I watched Comedian. I think they went pretty well together.

Forget the beer and go for pot. Less filling and tastes great!

Same here, but only because it's cheap and I can drink a few before getting totally toasted

I really wish I could, I mean REALLY. It would save me so much money, but unfortunately smoking weed makes me have panic attacks. I am the only person in the world that smokes weed and gets panic attacks, I just know it!

Anxiety is a pretty common side effect, it bothers a lot of people.

As far as beer goes, it all tastes like shit to me, so Budweiser is usually fine.

I'm a Harp-man myself when I have it in the house. Otherwise it's St Paulie Girl or Corona Extra. I've been meaning to try a good Guinness though next time I hit the Irish pub...

PBR. Mmmm, PBR.

For the beer drinking connoisseur only:

Hoegaarden White.

Mmmmmm ... double-fermented cloudy beer.

A Hoegaarden with lemon is one of those little pleasures that makes life worth living.

Quite, but I've never been sober enough to get the lemon into the bottle without it hitting my eye first.

Is Mike's Hard Lemonade considered a beer? If so, that's my answer.
Mikes Hard is considered bitch-beer, but it'll have to do I guess. It is really good though, so.... im a bitch!
There's something weird about Mike's Hard Lemonade...their tasty, but I never seem to actually get drunk off them. Maybe they just put in industrial chemicals instead of alcohol.
They do taste pretty good. But Zima is the real bitch-drink.
I'm gonna have to go with Icehouse

Yet a ZIMA alongside a chilled Stoli is pretty good!

You see, a malt beverage must have a spiritous liquor next to it. I don't know why, but that's just the way it is.

Well, Mike's may be "bitch beer", but it gets me drunk and tastes great, so who the fuck cares? I don't understand the mentality that getting drunk requires you to drink piss.

They say that beer is an acquired taste. Well, if something tastes terrible the first time, it doesn't really encourage me to keep going.

You know, beer has an awful lot of calories in it...

Stella Artois.

For people who like Guinness, try an Irish Car Bomb. Drop a shot of Bailey's into a pint of Guinness and drink it as fast as you can. mmmmm.

Shiner Bock. ummmmmmmm, beer.

You know, there are a lot of bad things about drinking, but people do it anyway. So "nyah"

I believe you forgot that you drop a shot of Bailey's and a shot of Jamison(SP?)/whiskey into a pint. Then drink as fast as you can. Or maybe that is my variation on it, oh well.
Mmmmmm indeed. Irish Car Bombs are so tastey and delicious.

For movies I like to play a game. I buy a case of Natural Lite(~$10 for a 24-pk) and I drink 3 per hour of movie I watch. This makes it a real challenge when watching movie marathons, but no matter the movies I always have a good time.
