Rik Mayall and gang were supreme and yes, if there were only few more episodes. The whole lot of them were a bunch of unpredictable bastards and they never worry about good taste. Being funny was part of their genetic make-up , I venture. Funny that not many know about them.

You should also check out the Black Adder series. It also has biting and sarcastic humour just like Adam West.Heh.

This series becomes your bible if you are a student in England, pure genius.

And I can say I've lived with people resembling all four of the Young Ones in my time... Scary.

The writing crew did go on to better things (such as the aformentioned BlackAdder) but for utter chaotic giggles, you'll be hard pressed to beat this show!

I lived in the american version of this show, in college, until I was rescued by a band of wild african pygmy cannibles, who had eaten some social workers and felt the need to rescue somebody.
