The Simpsons in front of 'feld, my man.

Seriously though, in my opinion (many will disagree), the runner up to the Simpsons is another FOX great, Married... with Children.

Really.

Buffy will be the show that I'll keep watching till I die. Simpsons comes in second and probably Live with Regis coming in third. Monty Python's Flying Circus is still very much fun as is All in the Familly.

M*A*S*H

Of course there are a multitude of shows which have been memorable. But these three have been for me landmark television.

The Simpsons and Seinfeld made me laugh the hardest, while Buffy (and Angel) and the Sopranos continue to bake my noodle, but in terms of ALL TIME greats, there never has been, and I doubt there ever again will be, a show as completely mind-blowing as the Prisoner. 17 episodes -- each of which could easily stand alone as among the greatest FILMS ever made.

And fortuitous timing on this thread, as the first two sets of Prisoner DVDs -- containing seven episodes -- will be released on Halloween. I've had them pre-ordered from Amazon for about two months now, and I can barely withstand the anticipation for when they finally get here.

The Simpsons by a mile.

Then in desending order...

Red Dwarf
Happy Days
The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
First Season Buck Rogers
Voyagers

The best?

Mystery Science Theater 3000.

End of story.

Not hardly as MTS3K was totally dependant on the lack of quality of the movies they ripped on.

And if you think about it, a lot of the wrap around segments sucked...

How could i forget Kids in the Hall. Almost every bit was funny, and very often hilarious, the movie left something to be desired but it was better than most SNL movies.

Well, I say the Simpsons. It the only show that has kept me interested in almost *literally* half my life

Then after that I would have to say ER, but thats because I used to work in a hospital, so Im partial to that

Shelby: I agree with you 50%

The Simpsons is the most worthwhile show in existence.

BUT, as we all know, you have no job.

GL, I think you are obsessed with the fact that I dont have a job. Once upon a time I used to, and my fav job was in a Hospital, hence my love for ER
