I was raised on television, like the rest of us lil' devils. I enjoy my fair share of comedies, drama and sci-fi.

But doesn't it seem like TV has gotten way too pre-pacakged? As though each new series has a lackluster Xena/Hercules kind of second rate budget funding it?

And I know movies aren't far from being here. Sci fi shows that wanna be Trek, etc. Cop drama. Medical drama. Melodrama.

In all fairness, I will admit to missing nearly everything new that has come out.

I am open to, and would like any feedbak you guys wanna give on the shows that are fresh and well loved by you other Chewers. i am not saying that I cannot be proven wrong. I just wanna see some fresh stuff.

Coincedentally, I thought Boston Public looked good. As we know I am a diehard Simpsons fan. South Park has lost me. I like Battlebots. That is the closest to a sport that I can bare to watch.

Basically the only thing i watch are Seinfeld and Simpsons reruns witht the occasional X Files rerun, The Late Show with David Letterman, Politically Incorrect and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, new episodes of Futurama, King of the Hill(not all the time), The Simpsons (though it has gone downhill lately), and Malcolm in the Middle. Scary how all the shows are on FOX. Most new sitcoms are unbearably unfunny, and dramas lose their effect if you don't watch them from the start or some are just plain boring (dark angel). I almost like the way tv is now, i've got my shows that i watch and i like that way. i don't watch very much tv this way, usually an episode of the Simpsons or Sienfeld and the BBC World News. I don't think tv is going to get any better and probably will just stick around in this zone of reruns, a couple good shows, and crap.

It's amazing at how bad tv has gotten over the last very few years. I remember as a kid that I'd spend pretty much all of my time watching it. But nowadays, I only have a handful of shows that I can't miss:

- Buffy and Angel
- Fox sunday night (Simpsons, King of the Hill, Malcom in the Middle and X-Files)
- Sex and the City

I can't stand sitcoms anymore although I have found myself kind of enjoying Will and Grace. I was so surprise to find out how un-bad this show actually was. Although it is more enjoyable because i do get to watch it with my best friend. But otherwise, sitcoms are a big no-no to watch. I would make an exception for Bette Middler's new show though. (God, I hope sarcasm translates very well over the net.)
