I believe you're confusing the simpsons with tonight's x-files.

Nope.

Don't watch The X-Files and after the last three weeks, I don't plan on watching The Simpsons either...

It wasn't THAT bad. Not a great one by any means. However, this season has started off pretty good.

It coulda been better, but again we had a truly surreal ending like the badgers in the first episode. Did that tree ever stop? What's up with that? Good stuff.

Also, the lines about Lisa narcing on their stash will be filed away in my "To be quoted incessantly" file.

Homer (eyes shifting): "Marge, she's gonna narc on our stash!"
Marge: "Homer, we don't HAVE a stash."
Homer (eyes still shifting):"No, of course not..."

What REALLY irritated me about last night was that once again, fucking football made it so that Futurama didn't air. It's horrible the way they treat this show. We got a couple of new episdoes and now it hasn't aired for like 3 weeks. FOX - It's a good show, please give it some respect.

This season of the Simpsons has been terrible. Last night's was the best episode so far, but still it was pretty damn lame. Take the show off the air i say. Even Malcolm in the Middle has been weak this year compared to last year. The X-Files was a ripoff of many earlier episodes, but still kinda fun. I'm growing to like the robert patrick and sculley team.

The only thing good last night - Homer's stash line aside - WAS the all too brief sub-plot with Bart as the Ninja Menu Boy.

THAT should have been the episode, but no that would be too interesting and wouldn't have allowed Pacey to guest star...

Goddamit, I wish you guys would stop whining. I get 5 to 7 belly laughs from the worst Simpson's episodes - which is an amazing feat. I believe it is still the best television show on the air right now, probably the best ever.

Futurama is great too and has better animation. But which one do I laugh more and harder at? Its the Simpsons.

For someone to want the Simpsons to go off the air is just wrong, and should be illegal.

By the way the most recent one wasn't so bad ... sing along with Moe ... "I put some onions down my trousers..."
