They managed to have a gorier, scarier, and better made episode tonight than most horror films of late.

Are they back?

No, the Fluke was from season One I think.

I found all the new episodes to just be simple twists on old ones. I like Robert Patrick, but Scully has become far too mulderish

and a voice was screaming: Holy Jesus! What are these damn animals

Scully is great, leave her alone. I'm really digging the way this season is going so far. I can't wait to get back to the Mulder on the spaceship stuff though. I'm sure I'll have to wait till closer to the season's end. Oh and Robert Patrick is great. Even with a small part in the last episode, he's still fun to watch. I was very doubtful about him at first, but he's really won my heart.

Ok, I'll get Chris on the phone & let him know the dramatic irony of Scully becoming Mulder and character growth are a bad thing, hold on....

Its a GREAT season so far!!

its been like 4 episodes now, can wwe stop saying "wait till next week to see if its just a fluke"?

Character development is kickin into high gear, and is it just me or does Gillian Anderson look hotter than normal this season?

Viva La X Files.

Yeah, I've been quite aroused by Anderson for some time, but this season has been by far her sexiest.

I thought the first episode was really solid but for me it's gone downhill from there. the second parter with the Mighty Morphin Bounty Hunter was okay, but the bat-guy left me flat, and the recent god-slug ep was full of bizarre behavior. would a doctor like Scully jam a pair of needle-nose pliers into an open wound dangerously close to the spine? would an FBI agent relinquish her weapon to some guy whom she knew nothing about? i do like the dynamic between her and Doggett, but they need some better stories to put them together in, ones that aren't rehashes of past episodes. of course, those gripes notwithstanding, this season is still head and shoulders above last season...
