Horatio Sanchez's best sketch i've seen thus far (I think it was from last season with Bill Murray as the host) is when he gets crazy drunk at a party in the village because when he was 8 he saw his parents get "eaten by a bear," therefore giving him full reign to smash windows, defecate on a stereo, attack people, and so forth.

Despite the above description, it really was a funny sketch. KILL ME!!!! KILL MEEEEE!!!!!

I'll add this to the already insightful and stimulating topic ... Will Farrell: Comic Genius? Or Deranged Psycho?

I think the guy is brilliant because

he's hilarious,

he always stays in character and never cracks a smile unless its within the character

and he always plays absolutely despicable and revolting people.

one of my favortie will farrell bits is when he plays neil diamond on vh1 storytellers. at one point he screams at his horrified and disgusted audience, "i once beat a homeless man to death in order to get an erection!"

funny, funny stuff. another one is one of those short films that he did with ben stiller in which he plays glenn frey having a one nite stand with one of his male fans (stiller.) its horrificly funny.

i miss cheri o'teri tho.

doug pechanec too.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the fuckable car yet...

SNL has been way way way way way better than it was last year. The new news thing is better than Colin Quin, but nowhere near Norm MacDonald. It now has a decent number of reasonably funny sketches now, and it's 30 trillion times better than the only other late night competition at the time, The Cindy Margoles show. Mad TV is decent and generally does get more laughs from me.

I'm pretty sure it was a repeat, but the Blue Oyster Cult sketch last night was hilarious.

U2 just slayed the croud.

The show is going along great.

Chris Parnell, Darrel Hammond, Will Ferrel, Tracy Morgan!

The rest pull their weight. Cept maybe Horatio Sanz. Mostly cause he has more to pull.

Update: This season is just fine like it is. The news chick, Tina Fey, is the HEAD WRITER for the show. Go figure. Jimmy Fallon goes from boring to REAL funny with a blink. Gotta watch that kid with patience.

Jimmy Fallon is one of the best actors to be on the show in years. He's talented not only in comedy (his Adam Sandler impression is outstanding), but he was amazing in "Almost Famous." More of him would do the show good.

Horatio Sanz and Will Farrell - keepers
Cheri Oteri - glad she's gone
"The other black guy" - needs to go

They have to have a black guy though.

Tracy Morgan is the main black guy...
It's that other no talent pair of the sucking "old school rap" duo

Hip hop hibbe to the hip hipp hop hibibidee doo.

GL: I was reffering to the long time running joke on the show when Tim Meadows was on. Tracy Morgan was always referred to as "The Other Black Guy."
Yeah I know the joke, and at the time, Tracy Morgan was that second black guy. But he is GOOD I say!

Anyway, I have a few minutes while Jay-Z is wasting time on MUTE on my TV to say that Jimmy Fallon's musical stylings are better than Sandler's and that CELEBRITY JEOPADRY WAS making me PISS MY PANTS!

GOD BLESS SNL!

(And Jay-Z REALLY lends credence to the evolution from apes concept. I would kick him in the face, but I can't imagine it worsening anything. Same thing happens when you try to eliminate his "talent")

Actually, I'm a Gore supporter too, but as far as SNL is concerned, I would much rather have Will Farrel doing Bush. Its so funny ..and cruel. He actually had him playing with yarn last week. Ah, Bush the second, our first mentally handicapped President. I have faith that Farrell will do his job and crucify the retard. oh, was that too harsh?
Its settled then, Bush is a retard. Long live Farrell!

Watching the X-mas special-- more specifically, watching Chris Katan doing Ricky Martin singing Chanukah songs ("Gotta, gotta read the Torah baby")-- brought back memories of Chris Katan of yore. Mr. Peepers, Mango, Goth Talk... were some of my favorite skits. SNL has got to let Chris do his thing. He's been shoved to the back burner way to often this season and the skits that he does partake in are awful.
O Chris, where art thou?
