This is a incredible hidden attempt to lure some chewers over into another message board.

No, I don't claim that my message board is any better than CHUD (hell, we still don't have anyone like Dan Whitehead or shelby) and I certainly don't want anyone to leave CHUD, but I'd be glad for anyone who might take a look at the other message board, I'm pretty sure chewers can use more than one board. wink

Man, you've got the biggest case of combined penis/CHUD envy I've seen in a dog's age Meyers. Doesn't Jamie Poole/Angelus/Vlad write for your site?

Arsenault, what's your problem ? What pisses you so off that you write something like that ? I'm just inviting people to MY site in a badly visited self promotion category. If you have a problem with that, avoid the topic. I don't know what made you so sarcastically mean towards me, but I don't think that I deserve that.

It's one thing to be self-promotional. It's another to self-promote a site that is trying to compete with this site. It would be like me going to AICN and posting "Hey! We have this great site called CHUD and our message boards are AWESOMES!" Professional courtesy, dude. Don't take this forum to mean you can do whatever you want.

And the Angelus comment was a mistake on my part. It's another movie site he writes for/goes to:

I don't want anyone to leave CHUD or the CHUD message boards (as already written above).
There's a difference between competing and inviting.
I don't advertise, I don't say "LEAVE CHUD and come to my site", "My site is better than Chud" or "forget CHUD, this is the new shit".

It's an offer. I'm a longtime CHUDler and I'll still be in a year. I like this place, I like many people in here and I know that many of the people I like here won't change their boards.
I honestly said that I invite people to look at the board, see the topic reads "one message board is not enough for you" - this sums it all up. I suppose that by clicking on it you're already a little bit interested in another, ADDITIONAL board. Many chewers spend much time on the boards because they're horribly bored. Besides CHUD, they surf the net and visit each interesting site they find. Now whats the problem when one chewer invites those people to his little site ? You don't leave your home when a friend invites you to his, do you ?

The bare idea of the possibility of competing with CHUD is laughable.
