Can I get added onto the end of this thing? I totally missed the sign up.

You got it. 6:30PM on day two.

From here until midnight TONIGHT, if you're a straggler, consider yourself added.

If we get a couple more, I'll reschedule slightly to balance out the days a bit more, but order will remain the same.
Yes! Chopper Command is mine.
For the benefit of your European cousins, what's the time difference between us and your time? I seem to remember from E3's brief stint in Atlanta that it's about seven hours?
It's 6 hours for me, but since I have a one hour difference with England so yeah, I'd say seven hours, meaning if your post time is 10 AM you'll post at 5pm.
That's OK then. I had visions of it being 4am or something. Because that's when I'm busy fighting crime...
Just noticed a little mistake in the time table. It says that Gemini goes at 2:30 pm and I'm next at 3:30 pm while I probably should be at 3:00 pm instead. Might want to adjust the schedule accordingly Mikah, unless you did it on purpose.
Thanks for letting me in micah. Question, you only chose one game per round right?
That's mikah not micah, sorry for miss spelling your name.
Mikah, I assume you will be our contact if we want to e-mail picks if we are unavailable at our scheduled time?
Sounds good, guys..i'm looking forward to it. Already know my first pick, pretty much...
I too want to be in this. Please, if possible, throw me in.

Mikah, in this rescheduling, will new-comers get tacked on to the end of one day or another, or will people get pushed up in their time slots to accomodate? Just curious as to how this may affect posting times.

I'll put up revised times tomorrow once all the stragglers are in.
I'm a straggler who'd like to be part of this draft. I know it's all random, but if I get the "final" (late at night) time slot (not that it's something anybody would want) that would be great. There's just no way I'm not gonna be part of this. Verbal, you're dead!

You may own Verbal, but I own you!
Mikah, since I'm first on day 2 at 10:00 and on subsequent day 2's, will I be able to post my pick in the morning earlier than that? Work disallows access to CHUD, so I would have to post before departing for the spice mines at around 8:00. Is that a problem or issue?

Not a problem at all. Post earlier.

The FINAL schedule is now up.

I hate Cesar!
Hehe. Just make sure to tell me what you're going to pick so that I take it first.
*cough* Halo *cough*

If Cesar and the other 6 behind him don't get, I will.

It's not my planned first round pick, but if it's still around at pick 9, I CANNOT let it go by.
sorry boys... that's all i'm going to say.
If HALO isn't chosen within the first three picks, I'd be shocked. I hate everyone that goes before me in Round One. Additionally, I hate Stewart as he is first pick on that day.

*Christ, Obie, learn how to read and type. ugh.

or you can let me know what cesar is gonna pick so i can have that one.
It's tough. If we're allowing arcade games.
Any of you people made a list? I did for the first time and came with about 100 titles, which are about all gonna be chosen by round two's end anyway.

Micah says arcade games are eligible. It makes this draft that much harder. I find it impossible to create any semblance of a depth chart or other battle plan for these drafts, this one in particular. The only pick I'm sure of is 10th round, because I don't think anyone remembers the game. It's so hard to plan anything before finding out which way the tide flows in the first round or two.

Depth charts are fun, but I prefer to draft on the fly. I just made a list of my 10 favorite video games of all time in that thread, and that's a loose template, but since Halo is probably going to be the first pick, that means I have to improvise.

The arcade inclusion means we're going to see some classics.

Yeah, I hope no one picks Munch Mobile before me.

Damn...I only got about 40 titles that I know and love. I'm fucking screwed.
i can't believe how excited i am about this. this'll rule. i'm most excited to see people getting creative with these picks, and i know you will. rounds 5-10 will be the best.
I already know my first pick but since I'm not until day two because I was a stragglere it will problay be chosen. I have about 50 other games to chose from if my first choice doesn't get picked so I'm set.
I almost wish I was a day 2 person so GTA:VC would be a draft option.

GTA:VC IS a draft option. I'm picking my very own copy locally at Software, Etc. Monday after work.

SO to repeat...YES GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY IS AVAILABLE FOR DRAFTING.

TODAY.
Micah, can you launch those threads (round 1, discussion 1, pictures 1)? Also, check your email later today as there might be a new PKG song you've never heard coming.
Submitted for future consideration:

I gather this works like a pro league draft, as Dan used the Houston Rockets example, where each team picks in the same position every round, based on their record the preceding season.

In fantasy league drafting, what these drafts basically are, the draft is serpentine: 1-10, 10-1, repeat, the intention to distribute talent more evenly. Perhaps that is something future drafts could benefit from?
