Well I just saw Spirited Away today on a completely Crappy Theater Screen. (The Varsity on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, NC).
The movie even stopped after the 1hr 45 minute mark.
And it made me think of other great movies that I've seen on completely wretched screens.. all anime to be exact.
Princess Mononoke on the now shut down Friendly Shopping Center Movie Theater in Greensboro... The film broke on that movie too.
and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and
Ghost in the Shell on the Carolina Theater screen in Chapel Hill.
damn these screens sucked. anyone care to add?
