honestly... great pick. i love that game to death. so addicting. anyone hear ever able to unlock all the characters?

i beat the game, but i'm not even close to unlocking everyone.

OK, I once played X-Men at the local arcade. My brother was Colossus and I was Nightcrawler. Then all of a sudden I didn't need to put more quarters in everytime I needed to. I had an infinite amount of continues. So my brother and I finished the game, and all the game did was start over from the beginning. So we ended up beating it 2 more times. It was so much fun.

I still don't know why I had infinite continues. I really wish the game had an ending.

If I hadn't pissed off folks with DOT I would have enraged 86. X-MEN was my back-up for this round. The double-screen goodness was enjoyed many times at the local arcade. I liked it when there was a full group of folks blasting through the mindless Genosha soldiers. The full group made the boss battles a lot easier, too. I always preferred Nightcrawler for his long-distance jumpkick and screen-spanning mutant teleportation attack.

I thought the game did have an ending after you beat Magneto the second time through. Well, that's what I heard. I never had the coins to play through twice in one sitting.

Maybe it did have an ending. But I did beat it 3 times in a row. I wouldn't lie about that. Of course I probably forgot it.

Also, I would have played longer, but the place closed.
