Do we always get 3 rounds in every week? I guess we do....

That's great. This thing is so much fun.

I already have the best Baldur's Gate engine game (Baldur's Gate II) as well as Neverwinter Nights, so I shied away from Icewind Dale. It does have one of the best musical scores of any game ever though.

Well, BG2 disappointed the hell out of me. I thought the ending severely lacked. The whole thing was great but the ending was a huge letdown to me.

Icewind Dale felt like a more complete game.

But I had no chance to pick BG2 anyway.

Then again, Throne of Bhaal owned.

Mikah, check yar PMs.
anyone here remember suspended? you probably have to at least be in your mid 20s right now to have played it back then.
You know if I could remember the names of any of the text based porno games I played as a kid I would probably draft one. I'm not even sure if any of them had names come to think of it.

i think that game was called 'chat room cybersex on prodigy'.

No these were games on the old floppy discs. We would pick them up from computer conventions for like a quarter a disc. The only one that comes to mind involved the characters car breaking down in front of a farmhouse (imagine that) and having to talk your way into the house and then being able to stick around long enough to do the farmers daughter. Failing to do so would get you killed and "I guess you won't be dipping your stick into her honey pot tonight" flashing across the screen.
Yes, I am a dumbass.

But Micah will pay for taking the best C&C.
What the hell is Gorf? The name rings a bell but I can't picture it.
<a href="http://www.klov.com/G/Gorf.html" target="_blank">GORF</a>

I don't remember this one, either.
Heathens! No one remembers GORF? When you talk into a fan, you sound like Gorf, not Darth Vader. Go ahead, I'll wait... Go turn on a fan and say "I am Gorf". That alone should remind you.

I remember Suspended as well. Great picks all around.
Dammit, Verbal. I thought "Icewind Dale" was safe for the moment. While I'm here I forgot to "damn" Poxy previously for stealing "Neverwinter Nights." Oh yeah:
Seems to me that master Laugharn has forgotten a Japan story on round 7. And I can't believe no one has ever played a Track and Field game.
<img src="http://users2.ev1.net/~rik1138/Konami/Konami-Track&Field.jpg" alt="" />

I played this one a lot. Does this count?

I remember begging my grandpa to buy this game for my 12th birthday. I thought it was the coolest thing. Oh, and that Donkey Kong mini arcade that the evil Mogwais were playing.
If you nicked your fingers playing it, it counts.
I have really fond memories of International Track and Field because it came out in the summer of the Atlanta Olympics and I used to have a buncha friends come around at my house and play the shit outta this game. I had no four pads adaptator so we had to play two on to, but boy was it fun. We used everything to improve the tapping speed, from pens to glue sticks, which made for some pretty incredible records (like 7 seconds at the 100 meter run). Honestly one of the best multiplayers experience of my life.

Goose, going over the draft lists I just noticed that you took Day of the Tentacle.

Not only do I wanna give you a belated "FUCK YOU!", but i'm also angry at myself for forgetting the game.

DAMN YOU!!!

The only reason I haven't piped up on your blatant theft of Track & Field is because I've been seething with barely contained fury.

Many a joypad was ruined during marathon sessions on that classic, and yes, we tried the "Pen Method" and even the "Thumb Hooked In Shirt" method.
I would like to offer a big FUCK YOU to Guyute, for taking my Pikmin.

Damn, I thought that was in the bag.

Waco...simply put....TO HELL WITH YOU!!!

I was seriously considering AoE/AoE2 for my 9th rd pick. DAMN!!!
I'm shocked that FFT lasted this long. IMO, this is the best of the 32-bit generation of FF games, and it has nothing to do with the main series at all. A masterwork, no doubt, and I'm looking forward to the GBA version as well.
I look forward to the bloodbath that will erupt when Metroid Prime/Fusion hit the streets this week, thus becoming eligible for the draft...

They are eligible for drafting starting tomorrow.

That WAS going to be my pick this round. Fuck fuckity fuck fuck.

Micah, yet another PM, this time for Round Nine, is awaiting you. Thanks!
I don't know what it has to do with either Space or Harriers, but goddamn if it ain't fun...

... and fucking weird!
why not take this opportunity to tell you why Mutant League Football is bad-ass?

Why MLF is bad-ass:

1) The ONLY football game where you can kill the marching band at halftime

2) The ONLY football game where you can bribe a ref to call a penalty on the other team for crying or breathing.

3) The ONLY football game where you can KILL the ref.

4) The ONLY football game where your running back can toss dynamite to break tackles.

5) The ONLY football game where the land mines on the field create new holes and obstacles for rushers.

6) The ONLY football game where you can win by killing the other players so that the team doesn't have enough living players to win.

god i loved that game.

Got it.
Super Mario RPG should not have lasted 8 rounds.
Gosh has everyone given up? Lots of people are missing their slots. PICK DAMMIT!!! (especially you Laugharn, I miss your little stories)
That's my boy.
I know there were 2 sequels (WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and WWF No Mercy). Revenge is my favorite wrestling game of all time. Sting owns all.

...and no, not Gordon Sumner.
I have never heard of anyone mentioning my 8th round pick, Snake Rattle & Roll.

Anyone have love for this game?
Come on... SOMEBODY has to be pissed over Space Harrier. I refuse to believe a video game about a flying boy killing robots with a bazooka isn't more popular than this...

Was that the platform game where you played a snake whose tail grew bigger and bigger as you ate stuff? Cause if it is, I fucking hated it.
Oh, and more people should post picture of their games. I'm curious as to what some of these suckers look like, and I am far too lazy to look them all up myself.
Damn you Frost! No One Lives Forever was my last chance at nabbing a damn good FPS! Guess I'll have to do without that genre then. Oh well...they're all the same anyway.
That was my thought exactly, it was the only really good FPS left and my draft was lacking one so far. That said, it WOULD have been there for you IF I was not FOILED AGAIN by that meddlesome BRET STEWART and his dastardly abduction of FF Tactics...!

Well, I figured there had to be at least one other person with some class around here.
I guess no one likes Brave Fencer Musashi.
Frost and Bret (freaking again!) made me pop a vein. Bret's FFT was unexpected and an awesome move (which was supposed to be my move). Good work. Frost, on the other hand, is on my sniper hitlist. I had to make do with another quirky heroine -- albeit younger and stranger.
I am happy. I got Pirates!, quite possibly the best game on the C64 with a good IBM version.
Ah crap, I was trying to remember Pirates and totally zoned on it!
I guess I am the only one who likes Brave Fencer Musashi.
Voltes, you have no idea how close I was to drafting Alice, ha! I think that there are some terrible things in store for Bret (Tactics! You fuck!) and Ludwig...Pirates! I had it on the Mac and thought it was the absolute shit.
NOT FUCKING PIRATES!!!!

That was my next pick....I hope you are looking over your shoulder..for the rest of your (short) life.
I must say, Snowboard Kids is one of the last games I expected to be drafted here. Not that it's a bad game. Quite fun. I have a feeling if I played it now, it would suck, but it was fun.

Also, Mikah, check your PMs.

Ludwig, you fuck.

How many countless hours spent sailing around searching for my apparently endless line of cousins and uncles, as well as playing the political game and rising the ranks of power.

Good times.

One can only hope that Sea Dogs II gets close to that level of immersion. It certainly does look pretty sweet.

I think Rez is the first game to ever reach the status of "art." Just such a beautiful visual/aural masterpiece. If I did drugs, it would probably be the greatest thing ever created. But I don't, so it's just a really good video game.
Yeah, there is definately an element of "Damn, I wish I had this in college" about Rez.
