To close out this incredible draft, I take yet ANOTHER forgotten gem that was just laying around.

There have been few space-shooters that have engrossed me as this game has, and it was trailblazing game in terms of gameplay and graphical perspective:

ZAXXON for the Arcade.

Since it seems it is nostalgia round, I will, for my final pick, take what I consider to be the most deeply poetic game I've ever played, the one which hooked me on scenarized adventure games forever, which captivated me so much I finished it in a 6 hours straight gaming session, and the finest game Lucas Arts has ever made:

Think to yourselves: who in the world has NOT played this game? How many have been addicted to it?

It's brilliant in its simplicity, almost elegant. It runs on every computer, because it's installed on every computer by default.

I PM'ed my pick to Micah but I guess he had to go home from work before he could post my pick. I figured I would have to include at least one arcade game in the mix, so my 10th round pick is:

Rampart, arcade

Next to my experience with Gauntlet, the most fun I've had with a multi-player arcade game.

Sorry, Lud...I did have to break from work.

I'm here to make Flyers' pick, and I think it's one of the coolest in this draft whatsoever. It's the very first game I played on an Apple IIe, and it's part of what really got me into computers in the first place.

FLYERS selects:
