Top 10 Action Hero Characters

Good topic. Punisher would be #1 for me, but I consider him more of a comic book character than a movie character. My list:

1. Seagal. "Characters" are for lesser men, this one played himself in every goddamn movie he ever made AND HUMANITY IS BETTER OFF FOR IT

2. Dirty Harry Callahan.

3. John Rambo. The hardest (fictional) bastard who ever lived. The only action hero who can pull off big hair without looking like a complete girl. Role model and mouthpiece for violent loners/losers everywhere. Don't push him.

4. Alex Murphy aka Robocop.

5. Snake Plissken.

6. Paul Kersey. Architect and conscientous objector by day, ruthless 89 year old LAWS rocket-toting vigilante by night. Respect is due!

7. Major Charles Rane, from Rolling Thunder. He's best mates with Tommy Lee Jones, he's more interested in getting revenge on Rosco P Coltrane than bedding that nice Barbara Hershey lookalike, and he's got a hook for a hand. Action heroes don't get much cooler.

8. Bill the Cop, from Street Trash. Closest we'll ever get to seeing TRUE Judge Dredd up there on the big screen.

9. Remo Williams.

10. Ash, from Evil Dead. Cos you gotta have him in there.

2. Ashley J. Williams (The ONLY guy to go to for protection from ancient evil)

3. T-800 (The most engaging non-human in cinema history. With him on your side, liquid metal fucks doesn't stand a chance)

4. John Matrix (You DON'T fuck with family. He'll show you why.)

5. John Rambo (Need I say more?)

6. Robocop (Whether he's fighting street scum, cyborgs or corporate corruption, he IS the Law)

7. Jack Traven (Keanu only)

8. Martin Riggs (One crazy fucker)

9. Snake Plissken (The coolest, baddest fucker this side of the Apocolypse)

10. James Bond (I was going to leave him off because of his inclusion on AFI, but you just can't forget about him)

All the other gimmes- Han Solo, Indy, etc are diqualified as well for their inclusion.
