Favorite Craft Services

As they say, a well-fed cast is a happy one!

What are some of your favorites?

The cast of THE IN-LAWS looked very satisfied. Those boys and girls in 28 Days Later could have used some more burgers and such, though.

Though personally I'm not a fan of their work, I think Tacos2Go helped create the right ambiance in the fast paced Charlies Angels 2. Though I don't think they helped Remains of the Day any.

Food2U's work on Bruce Almighty was noticable, but I think they did better work with Seabicuit, espesh since Toby's a Veg.

I still can't believe that Lucas hasn't dumped QuikWich. No wonder the PT sucks.
Don't get me started on them. Don't.

I hear the ham sandwiches on Whole Ten Yards were AWESOME, though.
I admire the work Pick Up Stix did for the production of Better Luck Tomorrow.
I heard John Woo was so impressed he got them to work on Paycheck.
Woo knows how to pick the right caterers. He even cooks for the crew himself, sometimes.

Actually, my sources tell me that they backed out of Paycheck. The bread guy organized a walk-out due to Woo's excessive violence.

Your sources? You emailed SJR and Beaks again, didn't you?
From what I understand from my sources they were going to do The Last Samurai but what happened was they accidentally over cooked Cruise's spring rolls.

He was furious. Furious.

My sources tell me that's from some TV show.

Well, we'll see what happens when SJR passes on my eggrolls to Spielberg.
This isn't supposed to be made public yet, but when I went down to the con, I pitched my idea for an egg salad sandwich to the guys in Gourmet4U, you know Spielberg's go to guys. I gave them my card, and they said they thought it had potential. Then I made some Beef Stew, as well.

Fingers crossed, guys, fingers crossed.

My sources tell me that edd salad runs right through Spielberg. Don't get your hopes up.
My sources tell me that may have been the final John Woo/Chow Yun Fat collaboration.
My sources tell me to wear a dress and change my name to Lousia.

My sources tell me that Tarantino split all meals on the Kill Bill set in half to save money.

My sources told me that Clint Eastwood's CS on Mystic River was to die for. Steaks, shrimp, etc. But also that if you did a bad day of work, the prankster in Clint would sometimes douse your meal in ginger.

Man's got no respect for professionals, I tell you.
I am highly entertained by this thread.

Please continue.

I never eat as well as I do on the sets of flicks with Craft Services around. Los Angeles Craft Services are the fucking TOPS (nothing compares to the spread they put out for, say, "Men In Black 2"), though some Canadian ones are starting to really amp it up ("Thirteen Ghosts" had some seriously great sandwiches).

Had some fucking great goddamn ice cream down in Australia, some great homemade bread in Italy.
Jack's protecting his "sources," which is why he isn't dishing.

(seriously though, from what my sources told me, Joe Dante wouldn't work a day on Looney Tunes unless he got a pigs in a blanket sandwich - and that's gold).

SJR, what did you think of flyers' eggrolls?

Also, can I Fedex you a box of these wonderful Shrimp Shumai I just made?
I heard that Russell Crowe and ACS got along so poorly that every meal they started serving him Chicken Jerk just to make a point.
I am not a fan of ACS' work AT ALL. Neither are my sources.
Well, my source thinks ACS is the best in the business. And also my sources say they could take your sources in a fight, unless we have the same sources which is possiblity.
Don't make me bust out my cookbook, Dre.
First you diss Bad Boys II's grosses, and then this. I will never PM with you again, Dre. You've fucked yourself.

Michael, did you like the meatballs that I delivered to your house? The sauce is what makes them!
Jennifer Garner ate them all before I had a chance, but they smelled pretty good when she horked them up in the bathroom after I fucked her.
You shameless, shameless whore.
Hey I'm like Ben Wallace that way. Good at catching rebounds.

I was talking to flyers, Michael. Garner's a happy coincidence.
True Story: Roger Corman's company these days - not a long time ago, but right now - will send a PA to McDonald's to buy a bunch of the el cheapo 89 cent burgers, cut them IN HALF, and that will be lunch. The second half is dinner.
I remember the first day of shooting The Rock, and we had an amazing cook, and we're eating in the place where they, like, made license plates in this rusty decrepit place — eating steak and lobster, all right, this amazing food, in this place where men were just like taken to the lowest of their existence, and it was a real irony.

Then I went home and fucked Claire Forlani.
Satan, you didn't fuck the prom queen?
Vanessa Marcil? Saved her for the end of the shoot, after I was tired of fucking Claire.

Here's my advice to actresses: If your director wants anal, you give it to him. Marcil wouldn't play ball, and I don't want to say I "ended" her career, but do the math.

I think Jessica Biel will be going places.
Is it true that the CS on the set of Bad Boys 2 served sushi ala Showdown in Little Tokyo (on naked blonde flesh)?
Thread Starter
Honestly, the caterers that serve "pussy" just demean the business.

Why don't you get out of here before I notify Star Chamber of your existence?!?
This just in, my sources are telling me that Jerry Bruckheimer fired half his cast on the set of King Arthur and recast them all with the cast of American Wedding because his order of McNuggets was one short.

The movie now is dubbed American Arthur.
See, this is why I don't come here much. You're all a bunch of pussy whiny haters, who don't understand the genius of the Bruck. We make movies for the people, and you get a guy who thinks Miller High Life is the high life, he loves Bruckheimer films. You know why? Cause we make movies about the things he wants and aspires to do.

Yes me and Martin ate sushi off shaved Playmates, hell yeah we did. You haven't lived til your flying on Columbia's finest while you're sitting in a DTS-ES home theater having three playmates working your stick.

That's why Bad Boys II is the greatest summer movie ever, and why Reloaded smokes the pole.
Bay, if you were as cool as your posts make you out to be I'd probably be enjoying your movies more than I am. You should try harder to keep the pick-me-ups out of the editing room, Mikey.
Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to print this thread out and wipe my ass with it when I think I need some "help" in the "editing bay."
Michael, I finally saw BB2 on Friday. On your next feature, why don't you eat shit and die?
