Casablanca
North By Northwest
The Pianist
Sunset Blvd.
The Maltese Falcon
Singing In The Rain
Raging Bull
Monty Python and the Holy Grail

The last four on the list I know I'll be making an effort to see in the coming weeks, if not purchasing, but the first six will need to work their way through my netflix queu or be available at schlockbusters when I pop by from time to time.

You OWN a movie you haven't seen? That's almost as bad as slapping yourself rigorously...in the balls.
Just kidding.

Might wanna bitch-slap me in the nuts then, because I have about a dozen movies in my collection, including Lawrence of Arabia and Shawshank, that I still haven't seen, and that are still in shrinkwrap.
I blame Columbia House. When you get 'em in the mail six at a time, it tends to overwhelm.

Here's the complete list -

Sanjuro
The Hidden Fortress
A Hard Day's Night
The Bourne Identity
The Bride of Frankenstein
Castle in the Sky
Frankenstein
Gone with the Wind
Kiki's Delivery Service
Lawrence of Arabia
Saturday Night Fever (I've only seen the 1st half)
Seven
The Shawshank Redemption
Unforgiven
Walking with Dinosaurs (documentary)
Young Guns

A little over a dozen there. Guess I can't blame the video store. Then again, who's stopping me?

Fuck Blockbuster.

Get to check Bucket of Blood and The Fabulous Stains off my list. Hot-cha!
Throne of blood and Hidden Fortress by Kurosawa.
Sunset Boulevard (Billy Wilder)-I have it recorded, I'll just need time to watch it.
Notorious (Alfred Hitchcock)-Same as SB.
The Glass Key (w/ Alan Ladd)-Because i love Miller's Crossing.
The Pianist. I try to see all heavy Oscar winners.
And I need to rewatch everything by Charlie Chaplin because I can hardly remember his films. I've seen them all, but it was long ago.

Those are hardly all the holes in my education. For example I have many, many classic horror movies to see. Italian and otherwise. Although I *have* seen Night of the living dead.

Ran
Pickup On South St
Double Indemnity
I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang
In A Lonely Place
Written On The Wind
Scarlett Street
Rebecca
Wuthering Heights(1939)

Are what's jangling my angle right now...

And finally, Lawrence Of Arabia. I've had the DVD for 2 years but I refuse to watch until I've seen it in a theatre on a screen big enough. Keep missing it and I keep being told by like mindeds to experience it BIG, that I'll appreciate it.

Giles, you'll kill me for this, but I still haven't seen Deep Red.

Add to that:
