Superman

I know that everyone agrees that Superman IV: The Quest for Peace is the best of the lot, but what are your views about the other 3?

Anyone care to admit they liked Superman III? Which may contain the best scene in the entire series where evil Superman battles Clark Kent. Throw your thoughts.

Annette O'Toole is hotter then a mexican's lunch and still is to this day. That's about all the good you'll get me to cop to where 3 is concerned.

I used to think 2 the best. Then I saw Superman on the big screen during a midnight run in Westwood.

I thought wrong...

Superman has not aged well. And I don't mean because of the wheelchair you sickos!

It's been a while since I rewatched them but 2 is still my favourite. The first is a definate classic.

The best part about three is that a guy in my office did exactly what Richard Pryor does in that movie, robs the company for the tune of almost 3 million pounds and then showed up for work in a McClaren sports car.

I was just flabbergasted that someone could actually BE that stupid!

Superman 4 is not a movie; it's a cheap, badly animated Saturday morning cartoon.

I have to agree with Blo. While it is still damned good, there are quite a few dry spots here and there.

Still, it is the yardstick to measure a good epic comic book film.
