The Greatest Missed Opportunity In the History of Promotional Art.

All it needed to be was a GOLD RING!!!

ON BLACK.

The words: "one ring..."

The RELEASE DATE.

The NEW LINE LOGO.

DONE like DUNWITCH.

SIMPLE! ELEGANT!

But instead...WE GET ASS!!!

Elijah Wood looks like a HOMELESS looking for a FUCKING HANDOUT!

Once again I see that we are on the same page, my friend.

I take one look at that poster and I see the one-sheet to Steve Martin's Leap of Faith. A movie which I assure you New Line doesn't want to have comparisons with.

Take a gander at the soundtrack cover...



Yep, they look damn similar all though Steve's has more style.

It's off-putting-'specially since I find neither one of the gentlemen particularly attractive...

I, too, am disappointed with the teaser poster. Elijah is just not the image that comes to mind. And you beat me to the lipstick joke, HAM. That was my very first thought.

This poster sucks.

The movies won't.
