Really good stuff. Loved it immensely. It's educational (to me anyway), in-depth, entertaining, perceptive and filled with extraordinary amounts of trivia and facts. Go to it, boyos. It's in the new Sci Fighter.

Me? I can't wait for the next one.

Yeah, educational. Baccarat is not a mystery anymore to me as well. One of those things you pretend to know for fear that asking will make you a nimrod. All this in Bond article. Who would have thunk?

Hey, thanks guys. I didn't want to burden the piece with the rules of betting in Baccarat ... and I'm not sure I understand that aspect myself.

All I know is you have to speak in french to play.

And she had a Queen I believe, not a Jack. Oops. Error error error.

I'm hanging my head in shame.

The crux of Baccarat is that you bet on either the bank (the dealer) or the player winnning the hand (in which case you get even money back) or you bet on a tie (in which case you get 8 times your cash back).

The shoe is passed around the table, and if you choose to deal you HAVE to bet on the Bank, but you do not have to accept the shoe.

And that's it!
