The big news of the day is that the cats over at He-Man.org have scored the latest info on the ever popular Masters of the Universe re-releases.

Coming sometime between March and May will be an exclusive Toys R Us 5-pack consisting of He-Man, Beast Man, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, and Prince Adam. Adam will be exclusive to this gift set.

Coming in July for the JCPenny's Christmas catalog will be an extremely limited gift set containing all 10 figures from the current wave of reissues and a copy of the famous William George poster that was given out at select retailers almost 15 years ago.

And Wave 2 of the reissues will street in September and will as of now consist of the infamous Battle Damaged He-Man and Skeletor, Buzz-Off, Zodac, Stratos, and Clawful.

For all you Quentin Tarantino fans, the first images of the 12 inch Reservior Dog figures have been released on Figures.com

The much talked about wave of GI Joe Manimals, which were previewed then canceled back in 1995, have been showing up at KB Toys stores across the country. But advanced word on the street is that at $9.99 each, they're disappointing to say the least. For serious Joe Geeks only.

Moore Action Collectables Futurama and Buffy Wave 2 figures are now shipping and should be arriving at retail within the next two weeks if not sooner.

That's it for today. But fear not, Django's on the case...

I've already seen a box set of the wave 2 Buffy figures, and it looks pretty cool. I didn't get it, tho', cause I've blown way too much cash lately on my grown-up toys (and get your mind out of the gutter, ass; I bought a new pistol). It had Buffy, Oz, and Giles, they all looked good. The sculpts were good, and the figures are mad articulated, especially for MAC figures. They all had shoulders, elbows, wrist and bicep articlation, hips, knees, and a mid-thigh joint that I've only ever seen before on that super-articulated Spider-Man that Toy Biz dropped last year. Like I said, for MAC figures an insane amount of articulation. I can't wait to get my hands on Spike.

Moore Action Collectables has just issued a press release detailing the 4th wave of those ever present Buffy the Vampire Slayer figures and while many of you may be excited, it does very little for yours truly.

Series 4 will consist of Drusilla, Anya, and The Gentlemen from the acclaimed episode "Hush."

As many of you know, this year will see the first of the Angel figures which at present will include among others everyone's favorite bad girl Faith.

Unfortunately-they scanned actress Mia Sara...

Weird. I never thought of it that way before because I always thought of my Angel figure as a bad guy.

No, that's your bad BOY, the one you like to spank and discipline. You need to get those straight.

More demons, less cutsie Buffy figures, that's what'll sell, dammit.

Figures.com has confirmed today that Art Asylum will in fact be making action figures based on everyone's favorite Wire-Fu epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

The first wave of 5 or 6 figures, all of which include a chapter of a comic adaptation courtesy of those chuckleheads at Image will begin hitting store shelves this October...
